Donald Trump represents everything that our founding fathers were against. He is a man who does not believe in freedom, equality, or the rights of the many vs the rights of special interests. He is a blatant racist, bigot, misogynist, and xenophobe. If he wins in November, the dream of our forefathers has become extinct. If our nation ends as the dream of Washington, Jefferson, Franklin, Madison, and others, we must place the blame on two factions; the ignorant voting public, and the media who has supported Trump from his beginnings while failing to offer the truth to the American people.
Our nation cannot exist if a fascist is elected as our president. The chant heard around the world will become a reality; “death to America.”
A buffoon who has no qualifications to lead the nation which leads the world must not be allowed to receive the votes of any intelligent voters. I am very fearful that the lies and attacks from the Republican Party against Hillary Clinton, mixed with the support of mainstream media will allow the most unqualified and dangerous candidate in history to become our president and place our nation and the world on a road to destruction.
Some may claim that I am being dramatic, but that is far from the truth. For the past eight years, extremists on the right wing have brainwashed millions of Americans to believe that Democrats were evil and sought the destruction of America. The exact opposite has been the truth. The right wing has misled weak minded Americans to believe that progressives are evil. Moving our nation forward is not destructive, it is our future and we must join the other developed nations of the world and embrace that fact.
Our nation was founded on equality for all men, and individual freedom. Our founding fathers rejected religion and elitism. They believed in the eventuality of a nation where all men and women would be treated as equals.
Trump’s basic premise is white supremacy and the repeal of parts of the Constitution which do not support his beliefs.
If the greatest mistake in our nation’s history occurs, and Trump wins in November, I will be at the head of a revolution against the government of the United States. I may be an old man, but my advantage is remembering what our nation once stood for. I actually believed the words of the Pledge of Allegiance, which I recited every day before my elementary education began. We actually read the Constitution and were instructed regarding the meaning of the Bill of Rights.
Donald Trump hates America. His plan is to destroy the ideals and principles of our founding fathers. His god is money, and the interests of the American people are not his concern.
I will join the revolution if Trump wins in November. Above all I cannot tolerate ignorance. If the American people elect a self-serving egomaniac as our nation’s leader, I will not accept him.
The American dream must continue. It has been on hold during the control of the Republican Party, but this must end. A positive future for our nation must begin on November 8th. We have the power, and if we waste it, we waste the future of our families and friends.
