“Talk is cheap,” and cheap defines Donald Trump. He continues to claim that he will ‘fix’ everything, but never says how. He says he will defeat ISIS; he must mean that he is going over to fight them, personally; he’s offered nothing else. He claims that he will repeal the Affordable Care Act, and replace it; replace it with what? He remains unclear about immigration reform. Trump rejects trade agreements, and promises to bring our factories back to the United States; how? When his “tax plan” was released, experts claimed that it would help the wealthy and harm the working class. He now has an ad which is a complete lie. He says that Hillary Clinton would make our economy worse, and Trump would make it better; how?
The latest grand statement, with no substance, was offered to worshippers at a black church in Detroit, Saturday. Reading from a prepared script, not his own words, Trump read: “I fully understand that the African-American community has suffered from discrimination and that there are many wrongs that must still be made right,” he said. Once again, how? Every time Democrats attempt to pass legislation which would help minorities and the poor, Donald Trump’s Republicans vote that legislation down. Trump knows nothing, talks a lot, and has no plan for the betterment of the lives of the majority.
The word is pandering, and it is especially egregious when no concrete solution is offered for the problem. Trump is a liar, and a buffoon. This is not a man who should be allowed to become the Republican standard bearer, much less the President of the United States. We need an experienced and qualified president working in the Oval Office. Our nation would fall from grace with the rest of the world with Trump as our nation’s leader; no one could blame them.
Trump claims he ‘gets things done,’ and is an expert at ‘the deal.’ Where is the proof? Trump can’t ‘deal’ with a heckler at his rallies. How would he be able to negotiate with the leaders of nations who are less than friendly to the United States? Trump will never change; he is the same man we’ve been cursed with for the last year.
Trump is such a poor choice; he can only be called “Ted Cruz on steroids.” Trump fails to possess a single ability which would allow him to be the leader of the free world.
If anyone believes that we should allow a criminal, a racist, a bigot; a man who incites anger and hatred among his supporters; to live in the White House, they have lost all patriotism as well as their common sense.
