The same Republican Congressmen which destroyed our government and their own party, plan the same for 2017 and beyond. GOP legislators announced that they would “do little until the election.” How can they possibly do less?
“If Hillary wins, we force her to waste time, resources, momentum, early good will and political capital – all on cleanup duty,” said a senior aide to one Republican senator.
Why do Republicans hate the American people? We pay their salary and expect them to do some work and pass needed legislation. This is not their country; it’s mine and yours! Republicans are useless, and I’m beginning to hope that their party does fragment in 2017. They are a blight on the United States of America and a danger to its future. They are a backwards force in a nation which wants to move forward.
If Clinton wins, Ron Bonjean, a Republican strategist, added, “The whole mindset (among Republican leaders in Congress) would shift to taking care of the most important business to help Republicans and unloading the more difficult, tense issues for a Clinton administration to deal with.” Shameful.
In other words, it’s once again party first and f**k the United States and its people. The Republican Party must change its name. In no manner is it representative of its name. It has become a group of men and women who ignore the need of the American people, ignore polls, and place elections and reelections as their only purpose. Annually they take more than $53,000,000 from our nation’s people and do absolutely nothing but beg for your vote.
As an Independent, I find this very upsetting and even traitorous. They are elected to serve, not to have lives of privilege and power paid for by taxpayers. These is how the Republican Party created “Trumpenstein.” If they had been an effective part of our government, GOP voters would not have been forced to display their anger by supporting the worst presidential candidate in history.
It’s time for all Americans to protest the weakness and failure of all Republicans and Trump. This year calls for a Democratic landslide on November 8th.
