What the Media is not Telling You about this Election

Don

This entire campaign season has been different than any other in American history. It has been controlled completely by the media. After August of last year, they began covering Trump’s vile antics incessantly. They failed to ask him the tough questions, while nearly maniacally covering every comment regarding Hillary Clinton’s e-mails.

But what makes it most unusual is how the media has given Trump a free ride without damning him for his racist and bigoted views. Trump has no substance; constantly claiming that he will “fix” everything but never how. Not a single “journalist” has demanded answers from a man who has never been involved at any level of government.

In past campaign seasons, the candidates criticized each other’s opinions and platform, but did not engage in direct personal attacks. I fully understand that this is Trump’s only weapon, and that he is entirely unqualified to discuss the issues facing our nation in the 21st century, but it remains a disgusting tactic. This only happens because the media allows and encourages his actions.

It is their intent to make Trump appear to be a viable candidate. They refuse to expose Trump’s business failures, his criminal actions in business, and those related to campaign contributions to buy favors for his companies, his reported issue of domestic violence, or his long history of racism. If they did their jobs, the American people would quickly realize that he is a danger to the American way of life.

This fiasco, which was created by the failures of Republican leadership, is an embarrassment for me and millions of other patriots who are heartbroken that the fourth estate which is no longer a functioning entity. The Walter Cronkite’s, the Edward R. Murrow’s, and the Huntley and Brinkley’s no longer exist. We now have entertainers whose sole purpose is to increase ratings. Network presidents have all engaged in the tactics of former FOX Noise President Roger Ailes. His philosophy of ratings first, damn the truth, now permeates the industry.

If the media was truthful, and reported the fact that Trump refuses to offer solutions, or even ideas to solve the problems most important to the American people, he would be receiving extremely low poll numbers, low enough to rightfully say that the election was over.

That has not happened. The media has no concern for the future of our nation or its people. The truth is of no concern to any of our overpaid “news personalities.”

This may be the most important election in history, and if Trump is elected, the nation founded by our forefathers is certain to disappear. White Supremacists, homophobes, misogynists, Islamophobes, and bigots will control the future of America. Nuclear war is no longer a fear, but a definite possibility. The insane will be running the asylum.

If this happens, the media is 100 percent responsible. Millennials are the only intelligent members of the electorate. They refuse to watch broadcast television for information. They find the truth in multiple ways, none of which is offered by ambitious television personalities.

Please; if you have ever considered reposting any of my rants, post this. We must take our country back. Thank you.
