For eight years the Republican Party has attempted only one thing in Washington; to destroy the advances made for the working class in the last 60 years. A Donald Trump presidency would continue their efforts.
When President Obama ‘normalized’ relations between the United States and Cuba, Trump praised his action.
“Fifty years is enough,” he told the Daily Caller last year.
That was last year, Trump has now flip-flopped and claims that he would repeal the agreement. Trump on Friday called the deal “one-sided” and said it only benefits the Castro regime.
Hillary Clinton supports the President’s actions regarding Cuba. In a taped interview on “The Tonight Show,” to be aired on Monday, she was candid about a continued prejudice towards women in government.
Clinton says in an interview on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” that Republicans noted she looked “so serious” during a recent forum on national security. She says you don’t talk about the Islamic State group “with a big grin on your face.”
Clinton says it’s a “constant balancing act” to keep a positive spirit while “taking seriously” the issues she needs to discuss as a candidate.
If one thing can demonstrate the enormous difference between Trump and Clinton, it would be the fact that Trump makes his own decisions without having a qualified campaign staff; while Hillary has surrounded herself with advisors who are competent and make intelligent decisions.
Clinton’s very detailed plans to solve the problems facing our next president are sound and workable. Trump has none. We must elect a president who is ready to work on January 21st, not by June 21st.
We must find Republicans who work to improve issues such as healthcare, and relations with Cuba, instead of continuously attempting to undo them. This is why our government is broken.
When legislation is originally enacted, it is seldom perfect. As programs and treaties are put into place, changes are usually needed. Programs which positively affect the majority must be nurtured, not repealed.
Both Ted Cruz and Donald Trump have stated that they would repeal the Affordable Care Act, and nullify our relationship with Cuba. Neither Republican has an idea of how to replace healthcare; Trump simply says that it will be ‘great.’
We need serious candidates who have the knowledge and experience to serve the American people. I also believe that it’s time for a woman to lead our nation; in general, the men have not performed well for 240 years. They love war, and hate peace. They failed to seek solutions for American families, and supported caring for those in other nations.
Bring our presidency home; please repost. I thank you.
