Kellyanne Conway Doing her Job: But not Very Well

conway-2

I’m going to do what I do best; tell the truth. Kellyanne Conway was not hired as Donald Trump’s campaign manager for her previous success; this is her first time in that position. She was hired because she is a spin doctor; and I’m not certain that she is very good at that. Would you like the job of explaining Trump’s lies and flip-flopping?

Conway was on “Meet the Press” Sunday. Moderator Chuck Todd refused to allow Conway to spin the never-ending ‘birther’ attacks by Trump. Although the answer from Trump himself remains vague, it appears that Trump now admits that the President was born in Hawaii. Todd asked Conway when Trump decided that Mr. Obama is a United States citizen?

“You’ll have to ask him that. That’s a personal decision.” Conway repeated her campaign’s accusation that Hillary Clinton was responsible for starting speculation that the president was born in Kenya.

Todd refused to let her spin the question into a campaign ad. As she always does, she attempted to avoid the question. She acted in the same manner when appearing on “CBS This Morning.” Conway was asked how Trump would deal with North Korea and ISIS. She said that ‘he had a plan.’ Pressed by Charlie Rose to explain his ‘plan,’ she talked around the issue, finally saying that it was “a secret.” Later on the show, Democratic vice-presidential candidate Tim Kaine was asked the same question and offered detailed responses.

To Todd’s credit, he would not let her continue her efforts to evade the question.

Todd: “You guys, in a press release on Friday, called Birtherism a smear. You used the word ‘smear.’ So for five years, and you were doing it to try to attack Hillary Clinton, does that mean for five years Donald Trump was perpetuating a smear? So if he was, why didn’t Donald Trump apologize to the president? Why didn’t Donald Trump apologize to the family of somebody who died in a plane crash where he tweeted out innuendo that this person somehow was involved in some cover-up with the birth certificate? If your campaign believes it’s a smear, shouldn’t Donald Trump apologize to the president?”

Once again Conway attempted to “do her job,” but failed miserably. She scoffed at Todd’s question saying that: “In 2007 and 2008, Chuck, Donald Trump wasn’t running against Barack Obama for president,” she replied. “He wasn’t smearing him about this. He was building buildings. He was being his successful self, a job creator.” But Todd kept on pushing.

Conway continued her attempts to deflect the question, claiming that it was unimportant. Although she continues to attack Hillary Clinton’s use of personal e-mail, which has no relevance to her qualifications for the presidency.

Todd cited several instances where Trump has been both adamant and vehement in his claims that the President was not a citizen. Conway failed badly as she attempted to ‘spin’ the subject.

Eventually Todd surrendered; sort of. “I get what you’re deflecting,” Todd replied. “And if I were in your shoes, I understand why you’re deflecting.”

Trump’s campaign staff mimics Trump in multiple ways. They are woefully unqualified, and lack morals. Conway is one of Trump’s top advisors. The other two are CEO Steve Bannon, and deputy campaign manager Dave Bossie. Bannon was the chief of Breitbart, an extreme right wing blog which has supported racism, misogyny, Islamophobia, and homophobia. He is a member of Alt-Right, a white supremacist organization. Bossie’s only “talent” is finding or creating scandal. This was his function in 1992 as he attempted to do the same and help defeat Bill Clinton. He failed.

Please help me expose the real Donald Trump and his supporters; repost. Thank you.
