More real scandal regarding a “charitable foundation;” and it’s not either of the Clinton Foundations. Trump illegally used his Foundation for a controversial campaign contribution to Florida’s Attorney General, Pam Bondi. The timing appeared to be a bribe to cease an investigation into ‘Trump University.’ He also used $20,000 to purchase a six-foot portrait of himself.
But that’s not the end of the story. Interviews with business associates, and legal documents reveal that Trump used $258,000 of the Foundation’s money to settle legal claims levied against his ‘for-profit’ businesses. In case you don’t know the word, it is “embezzlement.”
In a single instance, Trump was ordered to pay fines levied against Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club by the city of Palm Beach. The fines were levied because of a flagpole erected at a height which was illegal, and totaled $120,000.
The city agreed to waive the fines if Trump would donate $100,000 to a specific charity which benefited veterans. The check was written from the “Donald J. Trump Foundation.”
Has Donald Trump ever been an honest man? As we learn more about his past, it is very possible that our nation could elect a serial criminal, a racist, and possibly a white supremacist. We know he fails to pay contractors frequently, and uses fear, anger, and hatred to incite violence. He has been accused of at least one domestic violence incident involving his first wife. Although he now wears a muzzle, we witnessed his weak temperament for over a year.
The important question is why hasn’t the mainstream media exposed Trump’s serious and even illegal actions? Why are they giving him a “free pass” and constantly talk about honest mistakes by Hillary Clinton? Has anyone witnessed an expose of the real Donald Trump on ABC, NBC, or CBS? Of course not; their priority is ratings.
Trump’s use of money donated to his charity, and not contributions made by himself, is a crime, and he should be indicted for those crimes. There is little doubt that the reason he continues to refuse the release of his tax returns is that a major problem in his financial transactions does exist.
It is obvious that he has no concern for Americans who are less fortunate. The Trump foundation is in reality a foundation for the benefit of Donald Trump.
