By nominating Donald Trump as the Republican Party’s standard bearer, the GOP has admitted that it has a serious problem with racism. Trump is far from being the only culprit. Steve King, a Representative from Iowa, Mitch McConnell, the Senate Majority Leader, Ted Cruz, the junior senator from Texas, and many others have demonstrated their distaste for minorities. The reality is that Republican leadership refuses to admit the facts. Words mean nothing; actions have proven that blacks, Hispanics, women, Muslims, and homosexuals are despised by the majority of the right wing. Donald Trump has been endorsed by the Ku Klux Klan; what else can be said?
Today, Tuesday, the 20th of September, 2016, about two-dozen millennials arrived at the offices of Speaker Paul Ryan. They were there to protest the overt racism of Republicans who support Donald Trump and his prejudiced personal views and those of his campaign staff.
“As a Muslim, I’m sick and tired of the racism of the Republican Party,” said Waleed Shahid, a 25-year-old Muslim from Virginia as he stood directly outside Ryan’s door.
Ryan is a one of the Republican hypocrites who previously denounced Trump. In June, he endorsed the anti-American candidate, and even chaired his convention.
“Paul Ryan and the Republican Party are responsible for Donald Trump’s racism,” Shahid said from the hallway of the Capitol. “Donald Trump is not an aberration. He is the result of 50 years of racist strategy to divide the American people… and young people will not stand for this.”
Once again, let’s tell the truth. It is not only Trump who would destroy our Constitution. Ryan, Mitch McConnell, and hundreds of other extremists in the right wing of the American political system seek the destruction of equal rights for all of our citizens. They believe in party first; profit before the American people. Anyone who claims to be a Republican, and supports Trump is a traitor to both their party and to the United States of America. He represents everything our founding fathers opposed.
If any of our nation’s citizens claim to be patriots, they cannot support Trump. He is the antithesis of what the label ‘American’ means. By association, he is a white supremacist. Trump represents the worst of our nation, and cannot be considered a viable leader of our nation and the free world.
The primary reason that America has never been a great nation is its continual prejudice. Whether it is related to racism, bigotry, homophobia, misogyny, or Islamophobia, America is plagued by evil, and until that evil is destroyed, we will never be a respected world leader.
The facts are clear; the Republican Party supports racism and all other evils which are destructive to the nation created by our founding fathers. With Donald Trump as the party’s standard bearer, it is clear that millions of those who claim to be Americans are in fact members of groups who believe in the evils of Nazis and fascists. They would institute a white supremacist America. Minorities would once again become slaves as the “new order” controlled the nation.
If this is your view of the United States of America founded by Jefferson, Franklin, Adams, Monroe, Washington and others, which was extended by Lincoln and Roosevelt and others, you will vote for Trump. You will be the men and women who destroyed the dream; the United States of America.
If you believe that I am exaggerating, vote for Trump. If you see the truth, repost this and retake America for the majority. Thank you.
