There are many reasons not to vote for Donald Trump. The fact is; I can’t think of one single reason to consider him as a viable candidate for the presidency. I don’t consider him a true ‘American;’ he is a capitalist, and money is his only god. He has offered few details about his “plans” if he should win in November; a lot of “hot air” but very little substance. One thing he did reveal was his tax plan, but without saying how he would implement parts of it.
Nonpartisan experts have reviewed both Trump’s and Hillary Clinton’s proposals. Once again, there is sharp contrast between the two.
Hillary has offered a detailed plan on her website. Increases in the national budget would be the result of free college education, and ideas related to child care and kindergarten through fourth grade offered without cost. The latest estimate is that it would increase the deficit by $200 billion over ten years. She says that it would be paid for by raising taxes on the super-rich.
Trump would offer additional tax cuts for the wealthy. He says it would be paid for by “huge economic growth.” He would also increase the budget for the military and veterans. After the studies were completed, several issues were revealed. Trump’s staff has refused to offer details related to his “tax plan,” so the estimates are not precise. However, the figure they agreed upon was that Trump’s proposals would increase the deficit by more than five trillion dollars, and possibly more. In addition, they could not support his claim regarding economic growth; they believe that it would become stagnant.
Speculation continues regarding Trump’s tax returns. It is evident that he is hiding something; something so serious it could cost him any chance of winning the election. Is he lying about his actual wealth? We know that he has lied about his contributions to charities; he takes; he does not give. One article claims that he is $650,000,000 in debt.
Sadly, statistics prove that elections are won or lost based upon emotion, and not the issues. Trump’s supporters are not concerned about the national debt. They trust him for reasons beyond my comprehension.
The truth is that a Hillary Clinton presidency would serve all Americans, and not just a few. She will fight for all of our nation’s people, regardless of race, skin color, religious preference, sex, sexual orientation, or income level.
Hillary will not allow our nation to slip back into a recession; Donald Trump cannot honestly make that claim.
If you repost this, you will be spreading the truth; thank you.
