Let’s make this completely clear; the Republican Party is the only recognized group in the world which denies climate change caused by man’s use of fossil fuels. The truth is, I don’t believe them. They cannot be that ignorant. Their owners, and the biggest polluters in out nation, instruct them to make that claim. I know that they are not as informed as 95 percent of the world’s scientists, and they know that their findings are valid.
This brings me to reason 1,393,041 why Donald Trump cannot become our nation’s president. Here’s what the “orange man” says: “Obama’s talking about all of this with the global warming and … a lot of it’s a hoax,” he said at a December rally in South Carolina. “It’s a hoax. I mean, it’s a moneymaking industry, OK? It’s a hoax, a lot of it.”
Okay, Donald, let’s pretend that you are right; (it would be a first). What about the oil companies who continue to receive tax incentives and make bloated profits by mining the most dangerous product used by consumers? They are the greedy men who are destroying our planet. But, of course you would support the Koch brothers and others; they are part of your ‘tribe.’
In contrast to Trump, Hillary Clinton believes that listening to people who know more about a particular subject than she knows, is supporting facts and ignoring Trump’s fantasy world.
Trump listens to no one; he knows everything about everything. He tweeted in 2012 that “the concept of global warming was created by and for the Chinese in order to make U.S. manufacturing noncompetitive.”
I know because he is a Republican, he hates facts, but here goes; more well-paying jobs are created by renewable energy resources than by any other entity in our country. Hillary believes that we should lead the world in not only lessening our dependence on petroleum products, but also creating these sustainable jobs, while saving the planet at the same time.
But I’m forgetting something. According to Trump’s acceptance speech at his convention, he does not believe that America has a bright future. He believes in his own prophecy of “gloom and doom.” He is not concerned about the future of my grandchildren, and has not even considered their children. Profit before people continues to be the Republican mantra.
Here’s the part which is truly frightening. If Trump becomes our president; (and Satan rises to rule beside him); he will undo all the progress made to reverse the damage done to our air, water, and land. He would disband the Environmental Protection Agency and although the polluters free reign on every pristine square foot of our land and water.
Once again; let me make this perfectly clear. A vote for Trump is a vote against your future and the future of your family and friends. He is what Mitt Romney calls him; a phony.
If you are of sound mind and agree with the world’s scientists, please repost. Thank you, you won’t regret it.
