Unless Donald Trump suddenly finds a brain and quickly learns something about government, tomorrow night’s debate will turn into a side show. Trump is unarmed when he is required to answer questions directly. He is desperate to convince intelligent Americans that he deserves even the slightest consideration that he is a viable candidate. He may fool some, but I have watched him for over a year, and I know the truth.
“I will make it great;” “it will be huge;” “I’ll fix it;” are not answers. Trump says a lot, but offers no solutions. An average of all polls gives Hillary Clinton a 2.5 percent lead. Polls are of little importance until after the debates are over. The media is desperate to keep the numbers close; their goal is ratings.
Entrepreneur, Mark Cuban, is an avid Clinton supporter. He will be in the audience Monday evening. “Tweeter Trump” couldn’t help himself from once again displaying his lack of class.
“If dopey Mark Cuban of failed Benefactor fame wants to sit in the front row, perhaps I will put Jennifer Flowers right alongside of him!” Trump tweeted Saturday afternoon.
Trump lives in the past; he has no future. His many failures in life are now revealed to the American people; at least those of us who are informed.
Cuban has been one of Trump’s biggest critics. The billionaire businessman has compared his multiple successes to the failures of Trump. When Trump reached out to him in the past; Cuban scoffed.
“Donald. Remember when you told me on the phone we were “Bobbsie Twins” and I laughed ? #truestory,” wrote Cuban.
Trump’s supporters are guilty by association. They have a leader who speaks for their distorted and un-American views.
Hillary only has one problem; which Donald Trump will attend the debate? Will it be the one who is now under tight reigns by Republican leadership, or the real Trump whose temperament is pathetically weak.
The biggest question of all is if moderator Lester Hold is up to the task. No one has been forceful enough to demand direct answers to difficult questions from the failed businessman. The media has given Trump a free pass, and has constantly allowed attacks on Hillary which are unfounded.
If eleven Republican “debates” in which Trump participated are examples of what we will see tomorrow night, the word ‘debate’ will not be appropriate. A candidate of Donald Trump’s type has never been seen before. Not once in modern history has a major party nominated a totally unqualified buffoon to be its standard bearer. Months ago I felt embarrassment for the Republican Party, but that has now turned into pity. It has no leadership; it has only hypocrites such as Reince Priebus, Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, and now Ted Cruz.
Those who call themselves “Republicans” and support Trump, are in fact traitors to our nation and its people. Trump is neither an American nor a Republican; Trump represents himself and no one else. Everything he says is a lie. He knows nothing and will do nothing.
Trump is good at two things; incurring an emotional response, and taking ‘other people’s money.’
