Trump’s Top Campaign Staffers Are as Unqualified as their Boss

Conway

If Donald Trump becomes our nation’s president, he will be responsible for selecting a cabinet, and at least one Supreme Court Justice. If his selection of top campaign staffers is any example, they will be as unqualified and ignorant as the new president.

Trump’s CEO is Steve Bannon. If you have read any of the articles where I mentioned him, you know that he was the head of Breitbart, the most extreme of the right wing blogs. Its prejudices are too many to list. He is also a member of “Alt-Right,” whose members are composed of white supremacists.

His Deputy Campaign Manager is Dave Bossie whose only function is to create conspiracies. His best known attempt was in 1992, when he attempted to discredit Bill Clinton and guarantee a win for George H.W. Bush.

Neither man has any credentials which qualify them to operate a political campaign.

I haven’t forgotten Kellyanne Conway; Trump’s Campaign Manager. She, too, has no experience in a presidential campaign; she is a ‘spin doctor.’

In an interview with George Stephanopoulos Sunday, she was asked what would a victory for Donald Trump look like from Monday’s debate? She said that it would be “answering the questions and showing America that he’s ready to be president and commander in chief on day one.”

For those of you who do not closely follow politics, Conway’s answer can be translated to: “Not making a fool of himself by attempting to answer questions he cannot, and appearing presidential.” If you watched the debate, he did neither.

Conway continued to complain about Hillary’s negative ads prepared by her Super-PAC. What she failed to admit, is that the ads are using Trump’s own words; there are no actors.

Conway was then asked if Hillary would be held to a double standard; allowing Trump to avoid answering questions directly, as previously demonstrated by Matt Lauer.

“Americans don’t much like her and, according to your own poll, don’t trust her. Donald Trump is actually leading Hillary Clinton on the attribute of who is more honest and trustworthy in your own ABC poll that came out this morning.”

Explaining this effort to spin the truth is simple. It is a cover-up for the many lies Trump has offered the American people. We can begin way back in his early rallies when he said that he “will build a wall and make Mexico pay for it.” Neither will ever happen.

Congress will never approve billions of dollars for a wall which would be ineffective, and there is no possible way to make Mexico pay for it. The media is responsible for any belief that Hillary is untrustworthy; she has made mistakes, but they have been proven unintentional. “If Trump’s lips are moving, he’s lying.”

Stephanopoulos offered the fact that PolitiFact, an independent fact checking organization, reported that Trump received 48 “pants on fire” for his egregious lies; Clinton just six. Trump was found telling lies 89 times; Clinton 27.

“So Hillary Clinton’s casual relationship with the truth is well known to Americans. I’m sure we’ll see it on full display tomorrow night. And I really don’t appreciate campaigns thinking it is the job of the media to go and be these virtual fact-checkers and that these debate moderators should somehow do their bidding.”

In other words, don’t expect the truth from Donald Trump; he has to lie; it’s his nature. Last night’s debate proved her entirely wrong. Hillary offered facts, and Trump was guilty of at least five “pants on fire” awards.

On Tuesday, Conway said the following: “He believes that global warming is naturally occurring,” Kellyanne Conway told CNN’s Alisyn Camerota on CNN’s “New Day.” “There are shifts naturally occurring.” Then she confirmed that what she meant was that climate change was not caused by man; she answered “correct.”

Trump did not help her on Monday evening. Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton said Trump “thinks that climate change is a hoax perpetrated by the Chinese.”

“I think it’s real,” she said.

Trump denied that he ever said it was a hoax, but several tweets confirm Hillary’s statement entirely correct.

When Trump hired her, I was perplexed. But after a couple of months I now understand. She is not a campaign manager, her function is to “put out fires;” and Trump gives her plenty of work.

Trump’s staff members, like Trump, have no experience at their positions. They were all hired for other purposes, and are as fraudulent as their boss.

America needs to see Trump for what he really is; please repost, and thank you.
