The Future of the World Depends on this Election

climate-change-2

Donald Trump is one of less than 500 government officials around the world who deny that climate change is caused by man. If the truth were told in our country, it’s not that they don’t believe it, they are merely supporting their party’s owners who are some of the biggest polluters in the world. Republicans continue to place ‘profit before people.’ For that reason alone, the American people must not elect Trump. He would be a disaster for our nation and the entire planet.

Anyone who denies climate change denies scientific fact. Denying scientific fact is a display of ignorance, regardless of that individual’s level of education. What is interesting about Donald Trump is that although his has denied that the changes in our environment are manmade, his running mate appears not to agree with him. There is a difference between Mike Pence, and Trump’s “spin doctor” Kellyanne Conway’s opinions on this issue.

“Well, look, there’s no question that the activities that take place in this country and in countries around the world have some impact on the environment and some impact on climate,” Pence said during an appearance with host Chris Cuomo on CNN’s “New Day.”

If Conway is truly Trump’s voice in this election, he disagrees with his running mate.

Conway said Trump “believes that global warming is naturally occurring,” and confirmed the candidate does not believe it is manmade.

This is no surprise; Trump has proven his ability to be the greatest “flip-flopper” of all time thanks to his addition of Conway to his staff. The problem with habitual liars is that they soon forget what they said, and which side they took in an argument.

Regardless of the problems within Trump’s camp, the reality is that the dangers to the world’s environment are real. Only politicians can deny the truth, because their reasons are both political and financial. As recently as the presidencies of Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, the environment was a concern. It is only this new group of “pretend Republicans” who fail to face the truth.

We don’t know what Trump truly believes. He will say anything to attract voters who fail to seek the truth. His entire campaign is based on lies, innuendos, and misdirection.

Voting for Trump is voting for a member of the wealthy class who not only has no understanding of the needs of the majority, he has no interest.

We have but one planet, and the world is composed of one people. It is the obligation of government to protect our world and its inhabitants. Denying this truth is one of the greatest crimes committed by those to which we have given power.

Please, please repost. The future of your grandchildren is at stake. Thank you.
