Republicans don’t like the truth, but their standard bearer hates it. His “smack-down” on Monday evening was so demeaning, that Donald Trump is now criticizing Hillary Clinton for offering facts, and demonstrating the truth that he is not ready to be our nation’s president.
Of course we must remember that Donald Trump lives in his own world; he saw the debate differently. He may be the only one in the world who believes that he won, but he’s not giving up.
“She’s nasty,” Trump told The New York Times in an interview published Friday night, “but I can be nastier than she ever can be.”
This is the way Trump believes the race for the presidency should be fought. He fails to see the need to prepare for the debates, or prepare for the presidency. He plans to just “wing it.”
Now this next part will offer a chuckle. This man has just been revealed as one of the greatest misogynists of all time, but he lives on the planet “denial.”
“Hillary Clinton was married to the single greatest abuser of women in the history of politics,” Trump told The Times. “Hillary was an enabler, and she attacked the women who Bill Clinton mistreated afterward. I think it’s a serious problem for them, and it’s something that I’m considering talking about more in the near future.”
We’ve seen this tactic before during the primaries when he referred to Heidi Cruz’ appearance. The difference is that he was facing Cruz, and not Hillary. He is underestimating her toughness. She will not bow to insults or ignore them. Cruz has since abandoned Trump’s attacks on his wife and his father, and kissed Trump’s a**.
This is the way Trump would view his challenges from our adversaries. Putin would have him under his thumb immediately. His only retort to Kim jong un’s tantrums would be a nuclear attack. Our ‘difficult’ allies, including Benjamin Netanyahu, would have him in the palm of their hands as they used his weak temperament to control him.
The truth is that in a battle for the presidency, which contains facts and ideas, Trump has proven himself unarmed. In a discussion of family values, he has surrounded himself with philanderers and racists.
Between Trump, Rudy Giuliani, and Newt Gingrich, they have nine marriages, and numerous tales of infidelity. His CEO, Steve Bannon, is a white supremacist. He is a member of “Alt-Right.” If the campaign becomes a debate about morals, Hillary would automatically be declared the winner.
But the presidency is about the future of our nation. Hillary has detailed proposals for the betterment of our nation in the service of our people. Trump offers “hot air.” This man is without substance; in the words of Mitt Romney, “he is a phony.”
The final proof that Trump is unfit to be our president has been offered by print publications. The Arizona Republic has endorsed the GOP candidate for 126 years, but not this year. It has endorsed Hillary Clinton. U S A Today, which has remained politically neutral, is telling its viewers to “vote for anyone but Trump.”
Help me remake America as an informed nation and repost; thank you.
