Donald Trump’s personal “lending tree” is closing.
“The Trump Foundation must immediately cease soliciting contributions or engaging in any other fund-raising activities in New York,” wrote James Sheehan, the chief of the charities bureau.
How will Trump bribe public officials for financial favors if he can’t donate to their campaigns from his charity? If he can’t pay for another six-foot portrait of himself, he might slip into a depression.
Trump’s “people” are not fighting back, with the exception of attacking Mr. Sheehan; what’s new?
“While we remain very concerned about the political motives behind A.G. Schneiderman’s investigation, the Trump Foundation nevertheless intends to cooperate fully with the investigation,” said Hope Hicks, Mr. Trump’s spokeswoman. “Because this is an ongoing legal matter, the Trump Foundation will not comment further at this time.”
What is fascinating about this is not simply the fact that Trump, himself, claims that he prides himself on using “other people’s money,” and one of his sources has been removed, it is the fact that if the American people fail to support our nation’s future, and elect Trump, he could be facing criminal charges regarding his “foundation,” and Trump University before his inauguration.
Mr. Sheehan was very direct about the “cease and desist” order.
“The failure immediately to discontinue solicitation and to file information and reports” with the charities bureau, Mr. Sheehan said, “shall be deemed a fraud upon the people of the state of New York.”
It’s fair to say the Donald Trump is not having a good week. Between this action and the disclosure regarding his avoidance to pay his fair share of taxes, the real Donald Trump has been exposed to all Americans, and it’s not a good thing for his campaign.
He has constantly accused Hillary Clinton of criminal action because she used a private e-mail server, and the Clinton Foundation allegations; both proven facetious. The ‘table has turned’ and it’s now Trump who is accused of fraud and misuse of his own ‘foundation.’
With just over a month before election day, Trump is on the defensive. If I were him, I would not participate in the next debate. The town hall format could prove even more destructive. He was totally crushed in the first debate, and he continues to ignore the fact that any debate requires extensive preparation. Interrupting your opponent 51 times is not a wise tactic.
Of course, Trump’s loyal supporters and “lap dogs,” namely Ben Carson, Rudy Giuliani, Newt Gingrich, and Rudy Giuliani, will remain in the state of denial.
Trump continues to prove that he is hollow; a man without substance.
Trump can be defeated if the truth is known; please repost. Thank you.
