I’m very positive that after listening to Donald Trump for more than 15 months, I’m not the only one who believes that he is a “few bricks short of a load.” No one in their right mind could possibly believe all the gibberish coming from his mouth is produced by intelligent and organized thought. But he has now hit a new low, and at the same time proves that he is completely paranoid.
For years some right wing nut jobs have theorized that Democrats only seek a path to citizenship for undocumented workers to secure additional votes for the Democratic Party. Of course this has been debunked numerous times, but apparently Donald Trump continues to believe that it is true.
When Art Del Cueto, president of National Border Patrol Council Local 2544, misspoke, according to other union leaders, Trump was as giddy as a little girl.
“I spoke to several agents in my sector who are in charge of processing,” said Del Cueto. “And the problem that we’re seeing reflected through us as a voice is that some of these individuals that we’re apprehended with criminal records, they’re not, they’re checking their records, they see that they have criminal records, but they’re setting them aside because at this point they are saying immigration is so tied up with trying to get the people who are on the waiting list to hurry up and get them their immigration status corrected.”
“Why?” asked Trump.
“So they can go ahead and vote before the election,” Del Cueto replied.
Trump replied: “Big statement, fellas.” He motioned to the small group of reporters who were covering the event. After some crosstalk, he continued: “You’re not going to write it. That’s huge. But they’re letting people pour into the country so they can go and vote.”
A representative of the union told McClatchy that Del Cueto had inadvertently combined two issues when speaking with Trump.
Donald Trump’s weak mind believes this is all true. He knows that he is losing the election because of his own beliefs and words, and he is seeking an excuse for his failure; for “losing.”
This is what all racists and bigots do; whenever they hear anything which confirms what they wish to believe, they do not look for the truth, they actually accept false statements as fact and shout them to the world.
Donald Trump’s supporters were asked if they believe that the “election will be rigged.” They said, “definitely.” When asked, “what if Trump wins; was it still rigged?” They had no answer.
The truth is that in the last election, voter fraud was estimated to have occurred .012 percent of the time. This is an old Republican falsehood which has been discounted multiple times.
Today the latest polls reveal what is closest to the truth. ‘Real Clear Politics’ averaged 11 available polls; Hillary Clinton is leading by 4.5 percent nationwide. Trump has never led in the polls, and is desperately searching for a reason to blame his losing actions on an outside force.
The next debate is Sunday evening. If Trump performs as badly as he did nearly two weeks ago, what will he blame it on this time? He can’t use the excuse of a “bad microphone” again; or could he?
