One question I have for today; can any decent, moral, respectable man or woman vote for Donald Trump after this week’s revelations? Can you vote for a man who objectifies your sister, your mother, your wife or your daughter, and admits that he has no concern regarding what her relationship situation is; he would still “f**k” her?
On Friday evening Republican “leadership” met in Washington to discuss the election, including the question whether or not Trump should remain the party’s candidate. I would love to ask Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, and others who once denounced Trump, and later endorsed him, why? Is your fractured party more important than the values and principles of our nation? Apparently so.
I have been writing about the real Donald Trump for more than 15 months. The mainstream media has obviously avoided the truth to increase ratings. If while I’m sitting in my home, revealing the debauched life of Donald Trump, with limited access to information, it is impossible to believe that they were not aware of Trump’s racism, sexism, misogyny, bigotry, and Islamophobia. The media is not serving the American people; the ‘fourth estate’ is no longer a respected entity.
The next debate is Sunday evening; the format is “Town Hall.” What questions will be asked by the audience? Will Donald Trump attend? Most importantly, will he remain the standard bearer of the Republican Party as of Sunday evening?
Both hypocritical and loyal Republicans are telling Trump that he should step-down from his campaign. Personally, after writing hundreds of articles about Trump, I believe that his arrogance will prevent him from doing the right thing.
This strange, and ‘historical,’ (in a bad way), election season continues to become even more odd. Trump supporters, both in Washington and on the campaign trail, have proven that their support for the “orange man” has been based on their approval of his depraved lifestyle. Hillary Clinton was 100 percent correct when she said ‘half of his supporters are a bag of deplorables, and for me that includes Ryan and McConnell.’ A leader moved to the front of our nation’s politics and was speaking for them.
What were we to expect when Trump selected unqualified and inexperienced men and women to lead his campaign? Can anyone truly be surprised about these latest revelations when the man who is the CEO of his staff is openly a member of a white supremacist group; “Alt-Right?” After witnessing numerous occasions when Trump revealed his weak temperament, his tactics to promote fear, anger and hatred, and his misogynistic tendencies; how can any informed American be surprised?
Of course, I am a political “junkie,” and cannot wait to see what occurs in the next couple of days. Most of the American people will be in shock; and that’s what happens if our nation’s people continue to be uninformed. They must begin to know the truth; the Republican Party is the party of prejudice; and never has been concerned with “family values.” The GOP does not represent the majority; their concern is the one-percent. They have no concern regarding the future of our nation; party comes first. The majority of their Representatives and Senators are totally unqualified. Their existence is the result of uncaring voters who chose a party instead of the best candidate.
Time to grow-up America. It’s time to become involved in your own future. Politics is an ugly profession, but every citizen must be involved; at least every four years. The only weapon against our government most Americans have is their vote, and it is our responsibility to ensure the voting public elects the man or woman who will actually represent us; regardless of party affiliation.
