There was no ‘debate’ Sunday night, because once again Donald Trump refused to answer questions. His actions and words did accomplish one thing; every negative comment directed towards the “orange man” was confirmed. In a desperate attempt to cover up his outrageous and lewd comments about women, he attacked Bill Clinton. I didn’t know our 42nd president was running again. As he did so, he proved one fact to every intelligent voter; he is unfit and unqualified to become our nation’s president.
He has never discussed a single issue important to our nation’s people, because he has no solutions. He continues to attack, without offering facts for his vile rhetoric. Trump once again proved that he is not only unacceptable as our nation’s president, he is unacceptable as a member of the human race.
After Trump was exposed in three different recordings, on “The Apprentice,” an “Access Hollywood” bus, and on the “Howard Stern Show,” any woman who supports Trump is a traitor to her sex. This was not locker room talk. I have been in many locker rooms, nothing close to what Trump said was ever heard. Young men who attempted to objectify women were generally shunned. What Trump said went way beyond the sexual discussions which occasionally happen when an all-male gathering occurs. The women in my life reported similar talk in women’s locker rooms. But nothing of the vile words Trump uttered ever occurred. Women who remain supporters of Trump are the same women who would tell a victim of domestic violence that ‘she probably deserved it.’
Donald Trump’s continued support proves that at least half of them are indeed a ‘bag of deplorables.’ If they can support Trump and even agree with him, they are not true Americans. They seek a nation in which white supremacy, bigotry, misogyny, homophobia, and a movement to prohibit all Muslims from entering our nation is the norm. These ‘deplorables’ now have a leader, and they no longer remain in the shadows.
If anyone thought that Trump appeared ‘presidential’ on Sunday night, they were living in a world of fantasy. He rejected a debate, and attempted to make the event one of his despicable rallies.
Trump has been exposed. He lacks the temperament and moral character to become our nation’s leader. He exemplifies the worst of our nation. Fortunately, he is a 70-year-old-man, and the devil will soon take him. The way he ‘sniffled’ all night long suggest that he is not a well man.
Beth Moore is a well-known evangelical speaker. She, and other women like her, have broken from their husbands and now denounce Trump.
“I’m one among many women sexually abused, misused, stared down, heckled, talked naughty to. Like we liked it. We didn’t. We’re tired of it,” Moore said. She also had a word about evangelical leaders still supporting Trump: “Try to absorb how acceptable the disesteem and objectifying of women has been when some Christian leaders don’t think it’s that big a deal.”
The media has said for more than a year that Donald Trump is a “different kind of candidate.” That’s true, but he’s not a presidential candidate. Not a single man or woman has previously been allowed to represent a major political party who denounces American principles and ideals.
Hillary Clinton now leads Trump by double digits in the polls. My question is, ‘why hasn’t she led by at least that much since the conventions in July? The media knew who Donald Trump was, but they refused to expose him to the American people. He hasn’t changed, and most informed Americans have known the real Trump for years. The media has supported Donald Trump, and it was they who secured the GOP nomination for this disgusting example of a debauched member of the male gender.
