Many of Trump’s supporters claim that they believe in him because of his great success in business. Now that has been debunked, along with everything else associated with the megalomaniac.
Last year, Trump claims that he made $694 million. 42 percent of that income was reported from his golf courses; $296 million. Much of that was credited to his golf courses in Scotland. After operating costs, and other expenses, United Kingdom records prove that Trump’s golf courses actually lost money.
I have frequently said that “if Trump’s lips are moving, he lying.” Trump’s tactic of attack, attack, attack, using lies and innuendo, has garnered him supporters who choose to believe him. This is the saddest part of the 2016 campaign. Millions of Americans have come out of the shadows to follow a leader who is immoral and unfit to lead our nation.
“Trump’s Turnberry course lost over $2 million in 2015… Trump’s Aberdeen course lost about $1.6 million,” according to Mother Jones.
“The $694 million isn’t what Trump pocketed at the end of the day; it’s how much cash his various companies brought in before they had to cover expenses,” Mother Jones reports.
Trump’s ego is greater than his intellect. It appears that he was unaware that any American who declares his candidacy for the presidency is under a microscope; and they should be. Admittedly, it is often taken to excess, including the saturation regarding Hillary Clinton’s e-mails, but all too often facts are revealed which can destroy a campaign. This occurred for Trump last week when his attitude about women was exposed for the world to see and hear.
If Trump is, as I have said for often said, a failed businessman, what other reasons are there to support Trump. Only those who support white supremacy, sexism, homophobia, and banning all Muslims from the United States will continue to believe that Trump represents them. The only women who continue to support Trump are the same women who would tell a victim of domestic violence that she ‘probably deserved it.’ They are submissive to men and have no independent thought.
It continues to be an impossibility for me to imagine a vile and reprehensible man such as Donald Trump residing in the White House. I beg all of you; do not become complacent. You must vote, and you must encourage everyone you know to do the same. Hillary Clinton should be given a landslide victory of historic proportions. Red states should turn blue, and lessen the division of our nation’s people which has been encouraged by Republicans for the last eight years.
