There is no longer any question that Russia is involved in our election this year. Putin and his allies support Donald Trump. They know that his lack of intellect and experience will allow him to be manipulated. One of Putin’s closest allies is now attempting to use the most egregious fear tactic of all to influence voters.
I have said many times that I would never trust Trump with the nuclear codes. If I was a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, I might consider a coupe rather than place my nation in danger of termination. Trump’s temperament is very weak, and he does not need the approval of congress to launch the missiles.
Vladimir Zhirinovsky has close ties to Putin, and claims that Trump is the only candidate who would work well with Russia.
“Relations between Russia and the United States can’t get any worse,” Zhirinovsky told Reuters during an interview in Moscow. “Americans voting for a president on Nov. 8 must realize that they are voting for peace on Planet Earth if they vote for Trump. But if they vote for Hillary it’s war. It will be a short movie.”
He said that if Hillary was elected, there would be lots of “Hiroshimas and Nagasakis everywhere.”
His reasoning for his ludicrous claim is not entirely based on Trump’s bromance with Putin. He says that she is unqualified because she is a woman.
“Most Americans should choose Trump because men have been leading for millions of year,” he said. “You can’t take the risk of having one of the richest, most powerful countries led by a women president…If Hillary Clinton wins it will be the last U.S. president ever.” Really?
Finally, when asked about Trump’s sexist comments and alleged actions, he said:
“Men all round the world sometimes say such things that are just for their comrades,” he said. “We must only consider his business qualities.” Great businessman who is reportedly $650 million in debt.
The only thing Zhirinovsky confirmed is that Russia is a very male dominated society where sexual harassment is acceptable if not encouraged.
Now, Trump, try and convince me that Russia is not attempting to sway our election. Don’t try to claim that Wikileaks is not conspiring with Putin to aid your attempt to win in November. Lies are eventually uncovered by the light of truth, and you are once again exposed.
