The right wing newspaper, The Wall Street Journal, continues to allege that Hillary Clinton has committed crimes. For years extremists have attempted to discredit the former First Lady, Senator, and Secretary of State. Hillary admits that she made some mistakes during her service for our nation’s people. My experience proves that if ‘someone doesn’t make mistakes, they’re not doing anything.’ The key is ‘intention.’ FBI Director James Comey clearly stated that he believed there was no intent by Ms. Clinton when a few classified documents were transmitted over her personal e-mail.
Now we come to WikiLeaks. The invasion of privacy by Russian supported WikiLeaks when it hacked John Podesta’s e-mail account is unforgivable, but the truth is that they are nothing more than ‘politics as usual.’ Every candidate plans strategy, discusses possible miscues, and considers possible actions by their opponents. This is a non-issue.
Donald Trump is an actual criminal. In concert with his father, he violated the civil rights of black Americans by refusing to rent apartments to them. He is on record for bribing public officials to secure property. He brought in young women from other nations for his “modeling agency.” Although they only had “tourist visas,” he acquired jobs for them without obtaining “work visas;” violating immigration law. He used money from his own charity for personal use. Now we know that Trump sexually abused multiple women. Many of his business practices remain under scrutiny, including “Trump University,” which will be inspected by a court of law in late November.
The only strategy by the Republican Party has been to attack Hillary. They have no position on the issues important to the majority of Americans. Their idea of governing is to repeal everything. Trump wants to take away health insurance from more than 20 million Americans. There is no question that the Affordable Care Act must be amended, but ideas to repair the problems should be addressed; it should not be repealed. The problem is that right wing politicians do not know how to “fix” anything.
The choice is clear, and all Americans with average intelligence must know this is fact. There is nothing ‘presidential’ about Donald Trump. He lacks the knowledge, moral fiber, and integrity to lead our nation. What every citizen must know and believe is that he would be a danger to the safety of the world. Trump has frequently asked “why can’t we use our nuclear weapons.” For decades our presidents have increased their efforts to halt nuclear proliferation; Trump wants to use a weapon which could result in the end of the human race.
