The right wing thrives on conspiracy theories, allegations, and scandals created by desperate extremists. Rush Limbaugh has made a fortune misleading the American people and by using tactics of fear, hatred, and even violence. A satirical tweet is now the latest of Limbaugh’s sad efforts to assist Republicans in their election efforts.
“I love working at the post office in Columbus, Ohio and ripping up absentee ballots that vote for trump.” The previous tweet was sent by @randygdub, who describes himself only as a “cool and chill guy of online,” living in California. He admits that it was a joke, but conservatives, including Matt Drudge, Rush Limbaugh, and Curt Schilling, believed it to be factual.
@randygdub is a member of a group who calls themselves, “Weird Twitter.” To show how gullible Americans are, he re-tweeted several responses sent by others condemning his actions. Although Trump continues to claim that this election is “rigged,” he failed to ‘take the bait,’ and tweet himself.
However, Limbaugh and his cronies did believe it and took the opportunity to support the Republican standard bearer.
Personally, I am glad to see some humor in the campaign season. Most of what is reported is vile, angry, and embarrassing. I must thank @randygdub for giving me a much needed chuckle. Please re-post and give others a laugh; thank you.
