Paul LePage’ Most Recent Racist Remark

lepage

It seems like a daily occurrence when the Governor of Maine, Paul LePage, suggests another racist proposal. First of all, you must know that the controversial governor is an avid supporter of Donald Trump; that alone tells you a great deal about his lack of moral fiber.

His most recent statement is focused on ‘voter ID laws.’ States which attempted to institute these laws, which are clearly aimed at blacks and other minorities, are un-Constitutional. Their only intent is to limit the participation of minority voters. This was the governor’s response when asked if he believed that Maine would conduct a fair election.

“No. I am not confident we’re going to have a clean election in Maine and I’ll tell you why. The left, the Democratic party, insists on not having IDs. And will people from the cemetery be voting? Yes. All around the country. The media and the Democratic party want everybody to vote whether they’re citizens or not.”

Once again; the consensus of voting experts and members of both political parties is that voter fraud occurs only .004 percent of the time across the nation.

The only case of major voter fraud I remember in my lifetime happened in 2000 when the right wing Supreme Court awarded the election to George W. Bush. Al Gore won the popular vote, but when the Court ordered a halt to a recount in Florida, the presidency was gifted to Bush.

In 70 years not a single major voter fraud case has been reported. One alleged instance, reported on HBO, was never confirmed. In 2004, it was believed that the voting machines were altered in George W. Bush’s favor in the deciding state of Ohio. The machines were manufactured by a major Bush supporter.

But let’s not forget Paul LePage’ own problems. He has been accused of several racist instances, including a claim the black drug dealers were coming from Connecticut and New York to sell drugs and impregnate young white women.

It is obvious that white supremacists must support each other. Steve Bannon, Paul LePage, and Donald Trump make a notable trio.

The worst part of this election year is the revelation that millions of Americans remain racist, and their numbers appear to be increasing. Eight years of a black presidency was more than they could accept, and they now have a leader; a voice.

Maine and our nation are fortunate that LePage faces term limits and cannot run for reelection in 2018.

I have two purposes for writing this blog; to expose the mainstream media as a failure to the American people, and to encourage the American people to vote wisely.

Trump would not have won the Republican Party’s nomination if the media had not supported him and told the truth about Trump’s past. With my limited resources, I wrote multiple articles about his failed and illegal business practices; as well as his alleged sexism.

LePage is a perfect example of voter’s mistakes. He was obviously not vetted by most voters. They apparently voted for a party and not for the most qualified candidate. This is what happens when parties take precedence over our nation and our people.

If you agree; please re-post. Thank You.
