Like the line from A Few Good Men, Donald Trump “can’t handle the truth.” He lies so frequently, he forgets what he previously said. During last night’s debate, he continued this pattern, once again forgetting that everything is recorded today. Welcome to the 21st century. His sons, Donald Jr., and Eric, continually demonstrate their support of their father’s propinquity for falsehoods.
On Tuesday, young Eric tweeted a picture of a Ford motor plant in Brook Park, Ohio. He added the comment: “For anyone who wants to know what jobs leaving the USA looks like, here is the closed Ford plant in Brook Park, Ohio.” There is a slight problem with the younger Trump’s tweet; it’s mostly inaccurate.
Ford responded: “Ford’s investment in the U.S. and American jobs remains strong. In the past five years, the company has invested $12 billion in U.S. plants and created nearly 28,000 U.S. jobs. We have more hourly employees and produce more vehicles in the U.S. than any other automaker,” the company said.
While Ford is closing one outdated Brook Park plant, it is opening one 12 miles south of Cleveland which will manufacture various types of engines.
There is another successful plant in Brook park. Ford employs 1,750 employees there, invested $145 million earlier this year and added 150 employees.
The real problem here is that the Trump family makes rash decisions, and facts mean little to them. Their tactics of emotional warfare have netted them support from the uninformed and easily brainwashed.
The entire Trump family has lived lives of luxury and privilege their entire lives. They are totally out of contact with the majority of the American people. Without one iota of experience in government at any level, they are unqualified to consider becoming involved in our political system at the highest level.
In just 19 days, America will begin to forget about the disaster which is Donald Trump. He will be no more than a bad taste in our mouths; something we ate which was spoiled and rancid.
Let’s try to create awareness and inform the uninformed. Thank you, and please re-post if you agree.
