During the Republican primaries and debates, Donald Trump’s rival candidates, and right wing moderators, were instructed by GOP leadership to derail Trump’s campaign. Fifteen men, one woman, and several “debate moderators” failed horribly. Trump dominated the primary season and his adversaries fell one by one until only Trump, Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz remained. Republican leaders supported Rubio in hope that he could become the savior of the GOP. His lack of ability to think without a prepared script resulted in an effort more embarrassing than what was happening to the once Grand Old Party. In a last and extremely desperate effort they backed Ted Cruz. Cruz is the ‘most hated man in Washington,’ but the mantra was “anybody but Trump.” Trump made a mockery of Cruz, and soon he was the party’s presumptive nominee.
In Wednesday night’s ‘debate,’ Hillary Clinton did something that FOX Noise, and the 16 passengers in Trump’s clown car could not do; she tormented him with one liners and facts he was unable to deny. She proved herself far more intelligent than all 17 candidates offered by the Republican Party.
I expected her to act as I and FOX Noise personality Bill O’Reilly suggested; just ignore Trump and answer the questions without emotion. Hillary took another route to winning the debate easily; and most likely the election.
Her first response was about tax plans. Trump offered his first; the same plan economists declared would not work and would be a “gift” to the one-percent. When she was offered her turn, she said: “Let me translate that if I can.” After a discussion of Trump sending his businesses overseas, he began to boast about his Las Vegas property. Hillary interrupted and said: “Made with Chinese steel,” and offered a smile.
This began a series of ‘quips’ which caught Trump completely off-guard.
When Trump attempted to attack Hillary by saying that Russian president Vladimir Putin would have no respect for her, she said: “He’d rather have a puppet as President of the United States.”
When asking about Trump’s travel to Mexico to meet with the president of the nation on our southern border, he was accused of failing to discuss his infamous ‘wall.’ After Trump returned to the United Sates, the president of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto, told the press; “we’re not paying for that wall.” And so it continued.
As I watched the event, I noticed that during the first half Trump was struggling with himself. He badly wanted to interrupt the Secretary, but restrained himself by continuously sipping water, or adjusting his microphone’s position. Toward the end, he could no longer restrain himself. He constantly talked over his opponent, and proved to an entire nation that his temperament was as weak as reported.
Once again Trump entered a battle unarmed. His opponent was more intelligent and carried a much larger arsenal.
It’s time for this election to end. Please re-post and spread the truth. Thank you.
