Until yesterday, Donald Trump had not received a single endorsement from a major newspaper, including publications which historically support the Republican candidate. The Las Vegas Review Journal endorsed the “orange man,” but there’s a caveat. Casino magnate, Sheldon Adelson, recently purchased the newspaper. Adelson is one of the largest supporters of the Republican Party in our nation.
While Hillary Clinton continues to gain ground, Trump is not attracting new voters. His loyal base continues to agree with his dark views of America, but he is losing the number of independents which once supported him. He is also losing women and Hispanics.
Hillary has more than 50 endorsements from major publications. Traditionally, this is of little importance. Trump’s late endorsement from a newspaper owned by a major supporter of the Republican Party will have no effect on the election in Nevada. Early voting began last Saturday, and Democrats went to the polls in larger numbers than Republicans.
I admit that my expectations from the voting public are unreasonable. Few Americans read as much as I read, and few are informed. But I am still unable to understand how any American who truly loves his or her country, who opposes racism, and respects women, can possibly vote for Trump. He represents everything that is wrong with our nation.
The media has constantly misled voters by holding Hillary to a standard which is unfair. They have given Trump a free pass for 16 months.
Is it because she is a woman? Around the world women have been forced to be “perfect.” If they display anger, they are being a b***h. If they show emotion, they are ‘weak.’ If they are confident, women are seen as ‘arrogant.’ A man is accepted if her is sarcastic; a woman is called ‘catty.’
For the most part, men have failed our nation for 240 years. It’s time for a real change, and Hillary Clinton, and only Hillary Clinton is qualified and ready to do the job.
Please vote, and please re-post. Thank you.
