Watching a “60 Minutes” show on Sunday night when they interviewed voters in Ohio only offered a single impression; Christians are all hypocrites. I listened to women who continued to defend Donald Trump after he was exposed as a sexual predator. They made comments such as ‘everyone makes mistakes,’ or ‘it was just boys being boys,’ although Trump was 59 years old at the time. These same women most certainly displayed anger at Bill Cosby, but are willing to defend Trump. This is religious hypocrisy, and one of the reasons why I shun all organized religion, believing that they are nothing more than cults.

Religious influence is destroying the foundation of America, and phony religious support is unforgivable. Either these cult members believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ or they deny Him. There is no middle ground regarding this subject.

Any American woman who supports Donald Trump today does not believe in the equality of women, and she supports the right of men to objectify their daughters, their sisters, and their friends. They reject the teachings of Christianity and accept the practice of allowing the sexual abuse of women as a right of men in our society. This is a level of hypocrisy I, as a 70 year old man, cannot understand or condone.

When we select a president, he or she must prove that they are ethical, and believe in a moral standard which is beyond reproach. Thanks to the media, Hillary Clinton has been forced to defend herself, but Trump is indefensible and yet acceptable by the misguided.

I was an athlete in my younger days, and I never heard anything comparable to the vile and lewd remarks of Donald Trump. Of course, none of us were rich or famous, or 59 years of age. I was angry and ashamed as Trump was exposed for his sexist words, and even more so when more than a dozen women accused him of sexual assault. If this is acceptable to women who claim to be Christians, their choice of a faith-based life is debauched and a falsehood.

Women who defend Trump are more concerned with supporting his racism and bigotry than the reputation of the women in their life. Trump has been an unforgivable candidate for me during the past 16 months, but his supporters have found a voice who supports their un-American beliefs.

Trump is a man without morals and compassion. He represents the worst of America, and will forever be remembered as a stain on our flag and our Constitution.

Please spread the truth and preserve the nation of our founding fathers. I ask you to re-post, and thank you for all patriots.
