Donald Trump’s campaign CEO is a man named Steve Bannon. Bannon was previously the “head honcho” at Breitbart. Breitbart is the extremist right wing blog which promotes white supremacy, homophobia, Islamophobia, and misogyny. Today Breitbart has written an article, published on Google, whining about Democrat’s claims that the Republican Party continues to wage a war on women. Facts are not important; male dominance is.

There are more lies in this Breitbart piece of garbage than usual. It claims that Democrats pander to women during election years. It claims that Mitt Romney was not a misogynist; among other falsehoods.

Here are the facts. Republicans constantly vote against women. They defeated legislation which would force American businesses to grant full equality to women in the workplace. It doesn’t seem unrealistic to me that the pay for women should be equal to that of men for the same job.

Republicans voted against the renewal of the Violence Against Women Act. This law has been in effect since 1994, but GOP congressmen want to repeal it.

Thousands of single mothers struggle to support their families. Republicans refuse to vote for an increase in the federal minimum wage which would offer some relief to these women who face daily difficulty providing the necessities of life for their children.

Republicans support the Christian religious right, while denying a woman her right to seek healthcare for her own body. Supporting a single religion while denying the Constitutional rights of women is unforgivable. Abortion should never be a political issue; individual rights are denied because of the beliefs of a religion which does not believe in the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Finally, Republicans prove that they support sexual harassment, and sexual assault against women when they continue to rally behind Donald Trump. The “Bill Cosby” of politics is a sexual predator, and supporting him denies the rights and respect of every woman in our nation.

Breitbart is always wrong, but this time it’s so egregious; it’s almost funny. The only group in America which supports this debauched publication is the Ku Klux Klan.
