If you’re not sick and tired of failed investigations by Republicans regarding Hillary Clinton, you obviously are a part of Trump’s “basket of deplorables.” Millions of dollars, and wasted time have forever sullied our government, when something positive could have been accomplished in Congress are unforgivable. Now, an ambitious group of Trump supporters are already promising endless investigations after Hillary becomes our 45th President.
Jason Chaffetz, Republican Representative from Utah, is a man without principle. He has flip-flopped three times regarding his support of Trump, and now says that he doesn’t support him, but will vote for him. Really? He is organizing another waste of time and money as of this minute.
“It’s a target-rich environment,” the Republican said in an interview in Salt Lake City’s suburbs. “Even before we get to Day One, we’ve got two years’ worth of material already lined up. She has four years of history at the State Department, and it ain’t good.”
This is why our government no longer works for the American people. Republicans are too busy posturing, criticizing, and losing elections. Why don’t they try and make things better for the American people? They simply don’t care. They have no concerns about the Affordable Care Act and its urgent need for reformation; their solution is ‘repeal it,’ although its basic concept has already helped millions of Americans. What about the growing poverty rate? How do we fix income inequality? Why should only the wealthiest Americans be able to afford a college education? How do we improve our ties with Russia, and China? What about North Korea? When will Republicans accept women as equals? There’s work to do, Chaffetz, and you are wasting taxpayers dollars and failing to perform the job for which you were elected. Ideas create; whining destroys.
Chaffetz chooses to continue the same failed policies which lose elections. He is ignoring the fact the the GOP base is literally dying, and millennials and women will soon replace all of them. Why aren’t Chaffetz and his cronies looking at the implosion of their party? After the election it is very unlikely that the GOP will remain intact. It will be divided between Trump supporters, anti-Trump forces, and the TEA Party. Of course, we are unsure of which group Chaffetz will choose.
Chaffetz is nothing more than another failed politician whose personal ambitions take precedence over the American people. He was elected by the people of Utah because he had an “R” next to his name and for no other reason. He is not representing the people of his state, and is offering a losing proposition with his plan of continued attacks on a sitting President.
