The “bromance” between Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin continues. They have much in common. Their egos are larger than their abilities; they have fascist views regarding the governing of their electorate; and they lie so frequently that they forget what they said.
There is no longer any question that Putin is attempting to influence our general election. In collusion with WikiLeaks, he is making one final and desperate effort to change the outcome on November 8th. The FBI and Homeland Security have confirmed that Putin has instructed Russian hackers to find anything which might be damaging to Hillary Clinton. His fear is obvious, and his confidence that Trump would be his ‘puppet’ are now confirmed. He is not attempting to hide this fact.
Putin offered additional support on Thursday for Trump, saying that he views Trump’s support as a declaration by the American people that they are “tired of the elites.” But he denied that he was attempting to influence the election.
“Is America some sort of banana republic? America is a great power. Please correct me if I’m wrong,” Putin said Thursday, speaking at the Valdai Club, an annual gathering of Russian and international world policy experts. “Does anyone really think that Russia can influence the choice of the American people in any way?”
Putin obviously believes that the American people are ignorant of the fact that he fears a Hillary Clinton presidency, and is confident that Trump’s lack of experience, combined with his ignorance and ego, would make it easy for him to manipulate the unqualified “orange man.”
Putin was exuberant in his praise for the failed businessman. He claimed that he exhibits a type of courage and leadership previously unknown in the United States; but he is not interested in influencing the outcome of the election. Really?
“Trump has chosen his own way of reaching the hearts of the voters,” Putin said. “He is acting extravagantly, but not so pointlessly.”
“He represents the interests of the part of the society tired of the elites that have held power for decades,” he added. “He is representing the common people, and he is acting like a common guy himself.”
How many misleading comments can one man make? How can he deny that he has incessantly attempted to create an American agent for the former Kremlin boss, who will just happen to live in the White House?
Lies and politics are companions in elections. Trump and Putin are a perfect pair; but not perfect for the American people.
Please re-post and inform our nation’s people; the media will not. Thank you.
