If Hillary Clinton wins the election one week from today, she will have overcome an enormous effort from many who have attempted to defeat her for her entire public life. Since 1996 Republicans have maliciously and falsely attacked Hillary, hoping to discredit her service to our nation. They have failed miserably while wasting thousands of hours and millions of dollars. This is one of the reasons our government is failing our nation.
Republicans have received assistance during this extremely long election year. The mainstream media began supporting Donald Trump last August, and continues to do so today. It is the media who gave Trump the Republican nomination by covering his rallies five times more frequently than all of his other opponents together. Trump increased ratings, and profit took precedence over facts and the truth. Every supposedly ‘credible’ news person gave Trump a free pass; they refused to ask him the tough questions, and allowed him to use tactics of fear and hatred while refusing to offer substance in his vicious rants.
For more than 16 months Trump has been exposed as a white supremacist, a bigot, a criminal, and an alleged sexual predator, but the media has treated these facts as ‘incidental.’ Meanwhile, the discussion of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private e-mail server while she was Secretary of State continues to be the primary focus of their broadcast.
There are several possible reasons for supporting Trump and attempting to keep the race close or making it possible for a defeat for Hillary.
One reason is that our nation remains a society controlled by men. There is obvious resistance to allowing a woman to become our nation’s president. Although men have harmed our nation for 240 years by rushing into wars, and allowing their male egos to make egregious mistakes while governing our nation, they are opposed to any woman who would take away their power and control. Therefore, the media has held Hillary to a much higher standard than her male opponent.
Another factor is that she is a ‘Clinton.’ The media continues to include Bill Clinton in every discussion regarding Hillary. They fail to offer the truth about her accomplishments which must stand alone.
But the primary reason is profit. Trump’s vile and demeaning rallies are given far more “air time” than boring speeches by Hillary Clinton where she discusses the issues of importance in this election.
When Donald Trump says that the “system is rigged,” he is correct; but it’s rigged for him.
Hillary does not receive support from the media. The truth is that our “news services” constantly report any criticism directed at Hillary while Trumps many deficiencies are ignored.
If Hillary wins on November 8th, she will have attained the greatest victory in our nation’s history. The ‘deck has been stacked against her.’ She has been forced to be a stronger and more resolute candidate than Trump could ever be.
The truth is that Hillary Clinton will be a great president. She will open the door for all or our nation’s women to know that they can succeed in business, and even become the President of the United States.
America cannot afford a Trump presidency. We need a win for Hillary who will move our nation forward and not allow many of the dark forces of our past to destroy our freedom.
