No Surprise that Trump’s Campaign is Using Voter Suppression Tactics

dt-2

Millions of Americans are in denial about Donald Trump. For decades his unscrupulous business practices were well known in the financial world. Now that he is the presidential candidate of a major party, we have learned many other facts about Donald Trump, and none of them are flattering. We know that he has avoided paying income taxes for years. He has illegally used funds from his own foundation for personal use. He has bribed elected officials to obtain property for construction projects. He created “Trump University” to line his own pockets at the expense of thousands of young men and women who sought better employment. His campaign is centered around white supremacy, and promoting anger, hatred, and violence. His temperament is so weak that he would have our nation involved in another war within his first six months as our president. Trump is the ultimate sexist, proven by his own words. More than a dozen women have accused him of sexual assault. So why would anyone be surprised that his campaign is engaging in tactics intended to suppress voters who would cast their ballots for Hillary Clinton?

A federal judge in New Jersey has ordered the Republican National Committee to reveal how involved it is with the Trump campaign and its alleged efforts to intimidate minority voters.

“The Trump Campaign and the Republican National Committee are working very, very closely with state governments and secretaries of state all over the country to ensure ballot integrity,” Pence said at a town hall meeting in Denver in August.

In addition, Conway reportedly told the Washington Post last month that the Trump campaign is “actively working with the national committee, the official party, and campaign lawyers to monitor precincts around the country.”

Any actions by individuals which might be considered suppression of voting rights is against multiple laws. Trump’s campaign is adopting his lies about a rigged election and supporting his propinquity for anger and violence.

Trump’s unqualified campaign staff has no knowledge regarding the operation of a legitimate campaign. Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway have never been involved in running a high level campaign. They have joined with Trump by attacking Hillary Clinton personally, and ignoring the issues. Saying you will do something means nothing without offering a method to achieve a proposal. It is no surprise that they would revert to methods supporting intimidation of possible voters.

I have no doubt that RNC Chairman Reince Priebus is very involved in these illegal actions. He has failed his party for 10 years, and is desperate for a Republican victory.

Please re-post and expose another immoral action by Trump and his cronies. Thank you.
