Not a single major publication endorsed Donald Trump, with the exception of the Las Vegas Review Journal which is owned by Republican supporter, Sheldon Adelson. But he did receive an endorsement from a group Trump associates himself with; the Ku Klux Klan.

The “Crusader” is the largest publication of the KKK, and the entire front page of its latest issue display’s Trump’s campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again,” and a lengthy article supporting Trump’s despicable views.

When Trump added Steve Bannon to his campaign staff, he confirmed what I and others believed; Trump is a white supremacist.

Bannon is Trump’s campaign CEO. I remain confused as to why he was hired without having prior political experience. Before joining Trump’s campaign, he ran ‘Breitbart,’ the most extreme right wing blog on the internet. During his tenure, he wrote or approved articles in support of racism, misogyny, homophobia, Islamophobia, and other prejudicial subjects. He is a member of “Alt-Right,” an openly white supremacist organization.

Trump must be thrilled. His people accept him. But the real question is; “will you?” Would you support a president who is a criminal, a racist, an Islamophobe, and an alleged sexual predator? Will our 45^th president be the first individual elected who did not believe in America, and was not a patriot?

Trump hides behind his campaign slogan, but Trump’s ‘America’ would be far from great for the majority. The one-percent would prosper, but poverty levels would rise. What would happen to the nearly 12 million undocumented residents who have been waiting for action by our government for far too long? How long would it take for Trump to place our nation into another unwinnable war? Will black men and all women continue to be considered second-class citizens?

Would you prefer to have our first woman president living in the White House, or a man wearing a white sheet while burning a cross on the White House lawn?

You know that I’m not exaggerating; I have just described the real Donald Trump; the man who is hiding behind the facade.
