Donald Trump’s running mate and Ted Cruz have something in common, and it’s not a devotion to the Republican standard bearer. They are both religious extremists and place their dubious faith before the future of our nation. It has been announced that they will campaign together during the last few days before the election.
“After many months of careful consideration, of prayer and searching my own conscience, I have decided that on Election Day, I will vote for the Republican nominee, Donald Trump,” Cruz wrote on a Facebook post.
It is obvious that only Paul Ryan could surpass Cruz as the most hypocritical politician in Washington. He is a man without principle and is definitely not a Christian. He is supporting the man who defiled his wife verbally, and accused his father of involvement in the JFK assassination. Cruz, above any other Republican is fully aware that Trump is unfit to become our nation’s president.
Pence and Cruz share many sordid qualities. They both disrespect women, and are committed to homophobia. Pence is hated by the citizens of Indiana as polls represented if he would have chosen to seek another term as governor. Cruz is the most hated man in Washington by both parties. Both failed politicians use religion to disguise their own immoral ambitions.
Fittingly the two men will campaign in Iowa, whose largest demographic is composed of evangelists. These are men and women who claim to be Christian, but deny the teachings of Jesus Christ.
If you know anything about me, you are aware that I believe that all religions are cults. I cannot accept the instructions of another man regarding morality or spirituality. I believe in free will and that all men are born with a moral compass. I am not weak enough to need guidance by a man behind the pulpit who has no proof that he represents any form of a god.
Pence and Cruz apparently need guidance; they are unable to make decisions without the assistance of another man claiming to know what god wants from them.
I have a serious question for both men; if you claim to serve Jesus Christ, how can you support the devil’s surrogate here on earth? He has broken the law multiple times. He preaches hatred, not love, and uses language unfit for church. By Trump’s own words he views women as objects, and believes that their only purpose is to satisfy the sexual urges of men. More than a dozen women have accused Trump of sexual assault.
These are men who claim that their religion is their only purpose for their existence. Now you understand why I reject organized religion to control my life.
Supporting Trump is proof that religions support all of the evil in our nation, and deny true spirituality.
