Nothing in politics is worse than an ambitious politician. In the Senate, there are two; Tom Cotton and Ted Cruz. In the House we have Jason Chaffetz.
Chaffetz is the perfect example of what is wrong with Washington, and why the Republican Party will implode after the election. Chaffetz has no convictions and no morals. He has one concern; his personal ambitions. Chaffetz is the poster child for the reason congress’s approval rating is at 10 percent.
Chaffetz is the leader of a movement to waste time and money by creating multiple investigations if Hillary Clinton becomes our 45th president. But this is not the primary reason why I find him a perfect example of the evil that our government has become.
I am a fair man, and I am a forgiving man. When honest mistakes are made, I believe that I accept the fact that to err is human. However, when I witness a lack of morality and principle, for the sole purpose of achieving personal ambition, I find that reprehensible and unforgivable.
The evil that Republican leadership created in the form of Trumpenstein has exposed the lack of character of multiple members of the Republican Party. Chaffetz joins Paul Ryan and Ted Cruz as the worst hypocrites in American politics. They have placed both their party and reelection above our nation and the future of the American people.
When the Access Hollywood tape was revealed to the world, Chaffetz eventually denounced Trump.
“I’m out,” he declared definitively in a CNN interview with Lemon. “I can no longer endorse Donald Trump for President,” he affirmed. “I just can’t do it.”
But in what has become Republican policy, he eventually ‘flip-flopped.’ But before he did, he made what most believed was an admirable statement.
“My wife Julie and I, we got a 15-year-old daughter,” he said, and he just could not possibly “look her in the eye and tell her that I endorse Donald Trump.”
But the words of Jason Chaffetz were hollow.
Three weeks later, he announced that he was supporting the alleged sexual predator, and would be voting for him. Really? A man is not a man if he refuses to support his beliefs, and completely immoral if he fails his family. This is Jason Chaffetz. No true American can trust such a debauched individual. And let’s not forget Paul Ryan and Ted Cruz who join this man in their support of Trump although they all once denounced him as unfit to be the leader of the free world.
The Republican Party is a disgrace to our nation and what it once stood for. If their party has any definition related to the American people, they are all traitors.
Chaffetz is what makes America one of the least respected nations in the world. Our country will never be great if men such as the Utah Representative fail to believe in our nation and its people.
Trump is unacceptable. Anyone in politics and any voter who refuses to admit this fact is not a true American. Please re-post if you agree, and thank you.
