If you are an informed voter, you already know the truth. If all the information you receive about this election comes from television and the mainstream media, you know nothing. I know that Hillary Clinton has been treated unfairly throughout this extremely long campaign season. It begins with the fact that she is a woman, and is not allowed to act in the same manner as Donald Trump; (if you were a self-respecting woman you would never want to be like this vile and immoral man). Washington is a “good old boy’s” club, and there remains a great deal of resistance to female members of the Congress and the Senate. To consider a woman as president is unthinkable.
For twenty years Republicans have attempted to slander Hillary. The majority of unwarranted attacks against her began during Pat Buchanan’s failed attempt to win the Republican nomination. She was slammed with multiple falsehoods, including her membership in a ‘satanic cult.’
In recent times, Republicans have wasted thousands of hours and millions of dollars during four investigations into the tragedy in Benghazi. Although it was proven that it was the military’s responsibility to act, not the State Department, Republicans were relentless.
The continuing investigations of her e-mails is ludicrous. Donald Trump has committed actual crimes, but he is given a free pass. The media has created the myth that Hillary is not trustworthy; there is no proof that she has intentionally done anything in her long and prestigious career to harm or nation. Republicans have the same fear of Hillary as they do the LGBT community. They have no sound reasons to be afraid of them, but they are.
The media is the biggest culprit. Hillary has been held to a far higher standard. By its failure to thoroughly investigate Trump’s own admissions of bribery, his illegal ‘foundation,’ his violation of immigration laws relating to his ‘modeling agency,’ and more than a dozen allegations of sexual assault, they instead continued to assist the Trump campaign by focusing on e-mails.
Then there’s Vladimir Putin. It has been proven that he is assisting WikiLeaks found Julian Assange in the hacking of Hillary’s Campaign Director, John Podesta’s, personal e-mails. It has been reported in a publication from the United Kingdom that the Russians have been encouraging Trump to run for the presidency for five years.
Finally there is FBI Director James Comey. His release of nothing more than “suspicions” eleven days before the election was an obvious and desperate attempt to save Trump’s campaign. But when asked if he believed the Russians were attempting to influence the outcome of our election, he denied that there was any evidence.
Although most respected newspapers across our nation have endorsed Hillary, and several prominent Republicans have followed, Trump remains in a virtual tie with the only qualified candidate for the presidency.
Hillary has been treated very unfairly by the media; they are the villains in this election should the least qualified and most immoral man ever to receive the nomination of a hypocritical Republican Party win on Tuesday.
I hope and pray that it is Hillary Clinton who is taking the oath of office on January 20, 2017. Trump would be lying if he promised to support the “Constitution of the United States,” because he does not believe it our most sacred document.
