Mike Pence would be a heartbeat away from the presidency if Donald Trump wins on Tuesday. Do you want him to become the leader of our nation and the free world? The more you know about him, the less that answer would be ‘yes.’
Pence has been honest about one thing; his religion surpasses his love of country, and the welfare of his party. He is a religious extremist who opposes a woman’s right to make decisions regarding her own body. He believes that in cases of life or death for the mother or the fetus, the fetus should be saved and the mother allowed to die.
He was the first governor to sign anti-gay laws. He supported the rights of business to deny service to same-sex couples based on religious belief.
His most egregious belief has been proven to be a form of idiocy by American psychiatric associations, and would harm thousands of young men and women. He supports “conversion therapy,” which claims that it can change homosexual and bisexual individuals into heterosexuals. Wow! We have a two complete morons representing the Republican Party. How can anyone support them at any level?
Pence is a man who supports a religion based on judgment and hatred. He places his fantasies above reality. Like his running mate, Donald Trump, he is an ignorant man who fails to believe in the future, and chooses to live in our nation’s sordid past. Change cannot be stopped; either our politicians accept the fact that our country is joining the rest of the developed world and accepting that women, minorities, and the LGBT community will be a force in the very near future.
There was a time when the Republican Party only feared minorities. Today the are facing the reality that their base, baby boomers, are no longer the largest demographic in our nation. Millennials now compose the majority, and they do not accept the lack of support for all Americans. They believe in human rights, and freedom for all without prejudice.
Election day offers us two possibilities; we can move backwards and allow white supremacy, bigotry, misogyny, and a single religion dominance in our nation, or offers equality and freedom for all.
We can allow one man his personal ambitions, or an entire nation the rights guaranteed by the Constitution. We can allow the hypocrites in the GOP to allow a man without morality to live in the White House, or accept the fact that a woman who has survived against all odds to become our 45th president. Only you have the power, and you are only allowed to use your strength every four years; use it wisely.
America must know the truth, and I beg you to help me spread it. Please re-post, and thank you for loving your country as much as I do.
