For 16+ months the media has given Donald Trump a free pass, and placed Hillary Clinton in a position of unwarranted suspicion. FBI Director, James Comey, foolishly told Congress that he was re-opening the investigation into Hillary’s use of a private server just 11 days before the election. Until that time, Ms. Clinton had an insurmountable lead in the polls. Comey is now reporting that there is nothing to add to his previous decision, and no charges will be filed against the Democratic candidate for the presidency.
Has the harm been done, or will the media finally give a great deal of this attention to this fact on the final day before the election?
“FBI Director James B. Comey notified key members of Congress Sunday afternoon that after reviewing newly discovered Hillary Clinton emails the agency stands by its original findings against recommending charges.
Comey wrote that investigators had worked ‘around the clock’ to review all the emails found on a device used by former congressman Anthony Weiner that had been sent to or from Clinton and that ‘we have not changed our conclusions expressed in July.’”
Although this should be the end of this ridiculous waste of time and an attempt by Republicans to discredit Ms. Clinton, I doubt that the situation has come to an end. The only path for Trump to win 270 Electoral votes is his attempt to claim that Hillary has not honestly served her country, while he was involved in attempts to increase his wealth; and failed.
Already Hillary has received a small bump in the polls. The only question remaining is ‘will failed Republican leadership, Vladimir Putin, and James Comey release other allegations before Tuesday?’
Not a single charge against Hillary has been proven, and the media fails to offer that truth to the American people. Hillary’s record of service to her country is impressive, and lengthy. What has Donald Trump ever done for his country? The answer is “bupkis.”
Let’s actually offer America a chance to be great and elect the only candidate who deserves your vote. I’m with Hillary, and you should be as well.
