After three tapes were released of Donald Trump verbally raping women, and then the charges of more than a dozen women claiming that they were sexually assaulted by Trump, I was certain that not a single woman in America would accept such a vile man as their president. I was wrong. His rallies continued to see women and their daughters in the crowd. They obviously had no self-respect, and accepted the fact that they were second class citizens. They agreed with Donald Trump that because he was rich and famous, he could do anything he wished with their bodies.
This vile man is now the 45th president of what was once America. But more than one-half of all true Americans will never accept him as our nation’s leader. Marches in cities across the nation offer proof that true patriots will never accept a white supremacist and a sexual predator as our president.
Inauguration day, January 20, 2017, will not be a day of honor for Trump. The day after, more than a million women are expected to march in Washington denouncing Trump. This was the message on Facebook.
“We need to be working together in a coherent, supportive way over the next four years, to activate more women into leadership positions, to be more politically active,” she said. “We cannot allow ourselves to give up, put our heads down and not hold this administration accountable for any violation of human rights or women’s rights.”
24 hours after the march was announced, more than 40,000 women had signed up to attend.
If he makes it through four years without a criminal conviction and impeachment, Trump will be a one-term president. He will have the worst cabinet, and the least effective administration in modern history. His first year will consist of destroying all of the good accomplished by a real president, Barrack Obama.
If women unite, they can control the future of the nation. For 240 years they have been treated as less than equal by men. They continue to receive 76 cents for every dollar a man makes in the work place. Men continue to believe that they have the right to force women to accept the fact that they have no rights concerning their own bodies. According to Trump and others, they are merely sex objects. When Trump said that Hillary was not “presidential,” he was referring to the fact that she has a vagina and not a penis.
The facts are promising. Today more women than men are attending our universities. Within 20 years women will be CEO’s of more major corporations than men. As dirty old men such as Donald Trump are finally removed from this earth, they will be replaced by the more intelligent sex. We will have fewer wars, and more programs which will assist families and children.
If our nation can survive through the travesty that is not only Trump, but also the control of all three branches by the party of misogynists and white supremacists for four years, the revolution which is just now beginning will end with a new government.
I just hope we have the patience; but I kind of doubt it.
