I have been writing about politics for several years; first for an online newspaper, and now on my two blogs. The more I researched the Republican Party, a party I once found a serious and dedicated group of men and women who balanced some extreme ideas on the left, I discovered that it no longer exists. It has no principles and is owned by special interests. There is not an honest and dedicated Representative or Senator in their entire group.
They have also become the party of extremists. As an entire party, they are racists, bigots, homophobes, xenophobes, misogynists, and seek to violate the first amendment and force Christianity upon our people. Some are more subtle than others, but they are united in their “Klan-like” beliefs.
Some are not as secretive such as Trump and his chief adviser, Steve Bannon. Bannon has never denied the fact that he is a white supremacist, as proven by his membership in Alt-Right, and his time spent at Breitbart News.
I would be remiss if I omitted Steve King, Representative from Iowa.
In a recent interview on MSNBC, King was asked about Bannon, and the opposition he was receiving from Democrats and even Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell.
“He is a brilliant strategist. A dedicated patriot. A historian,” he said. “I don’t know why [McConnell] wouldn’t support Steve Bannon.” Really?
Only those who are reprehensible men themselves can support the evil that is Bannon. He is a disgrace to humanity; a man filled with so much hate, he must dislike himself.
King, of course disagrees. He worships Bannon, and defends him against his detractors.
Interviewer Stephanie Ruhle asked King about Bannon referring to all liberal women as “a bunch of dykes.”
“Well, I hadn’t heard that tape, and I don’t know what the context of it would be in,” he said. “So no, I wouldn’t say I was either OK with it or not OK with it.” He’s a politician.
Strong women are not acceptable to Republicans. Like Trump, they believe that they should all be “stay at home” mothers; should be subservient to men; and have only a single purpose as sexual objects. Men have the right to grab them anywhere they wish, and use them in any manner they choose.
Get used to it America, the lunatics will be running the asylum for at least two years. Then we can put Democrats back in power and return democracy to Washington.
