The most evil man in America’s modern history is undoubtedly Dick Cheney. He was the puppeteer who controlled the George W. Bush presidency which invaded two countries, and lied to the American people, and congress in a failed attempt to validate his personal ambitions. He believed in invasions of sovereign nations for profit, the control of the American people through fear tactics, and torture of our suspected enemies, although centuries of research have proven that it fails to be effective. Today a president elected by the Electoral College is supporting the unconstitutional actions by Bush, and is seeking its own fascist control of the American people.
Trump has nominated several corrupt individuals who would destroy much or our Constitution. Sessions, Pompeo, Flynn, and other probable selections provide a great danger to our nation’s future. None is more dangerous than Tom Cotton.
The junior senator from Arkansas has proven that he is a traitor to our nation as he consistently challenged the authority of President Obama. He is Cheney reborn, and echoes the anti-American beliefs of the failed vice-president.
If you don’t know Tom Cotton, and believe that I am merely critical of him because Trump is considering him for his cabinet, here are a few of his “achievements.”
While the nuclear arms agreement was under negotiation by the President and his representatives, Cotton penned a letter to the leaders of Iran threatening a rejection by Congress. This is not only a violation of ethics it is traitorous.
Like his idol, Cheney, he loves Guantanamo Bay, and believes we should detain more men and women who are merely suspected of terrorism, but not formerly charged.
Cotton favors escalated use of “killer drones” and increased bombing of areas where civilians live.
Cotton joins with Trump in embracing xenophobia and a wall between Mexico and the United States.
Cotton accepted more than $700,000 from Israel for his senatorial campaign.
Like Trump, Cotton would eliminate a ‘free press.’ While a lieutenant in the military in 2006, he supported charging two New York Times journalists with ‘espionage’ because they exposed the truth of what our military was doing in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Cotton has one complaint about poverty; there’s not enough of it. He actually called food stamp recipients “addicts.”
Cotton is opposed to any legislation which would give women equal rights and equal protection under the law.
We have less than two years to work for Democrats and take control of Congress. This will be our only weapon against the corrupt administration of Donald Trump and his immoral cronies.
