My “dream” ticket for Republicans has always been Donald Trump, and Sarah Palin. I called them the “dumb and dumber” of the 21st century. Both of them constantly display their lack of intellect, their un-American attitudes, and a complete lack of qualifications to be the leader of the free world.
They have so much in common. Both control their supporters through hatred, as the lie about virtually everything. They are both attention whores, and both care more about money than people.
I have learned that I was not alone in hoping Palin would once again be involved in an election.
Steve Bannon, the former Wall Street executive, head of Breitbart News, member of Alt-Right, and all around despicable human being, is now Trump’s chief adviser, confirming his support of white supremacy. He supported the candidacy of Palin long before Trump declared his candidacy.
Bannon claimed to want “an outsider,” someone who was “not part of the political establishment,” “not for sale,” with “an ‘America First’ foreign policy approach” and “a ‘Drain the Swamp’ mentality about Washington, DC.” What Bannon loved most was how this person seemed to “put the American worker—the little guy—first.”
Except that none of this actually describes Sarah Palin, his idea was basically sound. His error was assuming that someone who knew nothing about the federal government, and served only half of her term as the Governor of Alaska, was intelligent and capable of performing as our president; another thing Palin and Trump share.
So, if Bannon could not control the administration of “dumber,” he settled for “dumb.” Together will billionaire Robert Mercer, our nation will be under the control of white supremacists, xenophobes, misogynists, bigots, and men suffering from terminal homophobia.
Trump is not only unfit to be our president, he lacks any knowledge and any talent which would make him an effective president. In this respect, he will have a similar presidency to that of George W. Bush. He will only be a ‘front man’ for the true fascist rulers of his administration.
If we examine Trump’s choices for his cabinet, and closest advisers, someone other than he is making the choices. He knows nothing about these men and women, unless they were huge donors to his campaign.
It is important that the truth is offered to the majority. The media, and our government are supporting Trump, and once again giving him a free pass. The American people cannot accept fascism. We cannot accept an immoral and ignorant man as our nation’s leader.
For the first time the voting public has elected a president who is not a true American; is a white supremacist, a sexual predator, and a man who incites anger and violence; denying the need for love of country, compassion, and understanding.
Trump’s selections have proven that “draining the swamp” was simply another empty campaign promise. Trump meant nothing when he promised his supporters change.
We can take back our country peacefully. However, those of you who support lobbies, never forget that the NRA gun lobby has often warned the American people that they must be armed to protect themselves from their own government.
Your local gun store is likely having a “Christmas sale” on assault rifles; and anyone can purchase them, even terrorists.
