The truth, the one thing Republicans hate most, is that the GOP is responsible for all the evil in the entire nation, including Trump. Every prejudice, every denial of the rights of all Americans to freely exist and prosper in our nation is the result of Republican ambition and greed. The once Grand Old Party ceased to exist in 2008, and will never recover.
When President Obama rescued the working class from the tyranny of George W. Bush, he was forced to save our nation’s economy before he could implement his plans for the majority of our nation’s people. When he attempted to offer the American people healthcare, the Republicans in congress revolted, although they have the best benefits taxpayer money can buy. When Democrats attempted to ensure that women had equal protection under the law in all situations, including the workplace; Republicans rejected it. When the President suggested an increase in the federal minimum wage which would have reduced the poverty level, they rejected the idea; protecting big business. Republicans also opposed making higher education affordable for all of our nation’s youth. The GOP suggested prevention of abortion for all poor and low-income women by attempting to defund Planned Parenthood. They also opposed same-sex marriage, although the Supreme Court upheld the right of all Americans to unite with those they loved. In violation of the first amendment, Republicans sought to institute the evils of Christianity as our national religion.
Now Republicans have given the worst of the worst to the American people; Donald J. Trump. The most unqualified candidate in history will live in the White House and introduce fascism to America. He won the nomination and the presidency with a platform of anger, hatred, and violence. Those he has chosen for his inner circle are white supremacists, xenophobes, misogynists, and homophobes. His evil rhetoric has inspired hate crimes against blacks, Hispanics, women, and primarily Muslims.
He is the most immoral man in American history who aligns himself with all of his appointees and nominees. In addition, he is a sexual predatory, according to all accounts of women he has allegedly abused.
Our nation is divided, and will never unite again in my lifetime, and likely not in yours. Republicans have no concern for the majority, and lie every day about their reasons for seeking public office. They are no longer the party of Lincoln, Roosevelt, or Reagan. They are now the party of Cruz, Priebus, “W,” and Trump. They support Bannon, Giuliani, Gingrich, Palin, Coulter, and Limbaugh. They hate America and seek to instill a new order; fascism.
