“Trump is a phony. He is a danger to our nation and to the world.” These were the words of Mitt Romney before Trump was illegally elected as America’s first fascist, and first fuhrer. But now Romney is begging to become the Secretary of State.
Romney is nothing more than another Republican hypocrite. The once Grand Old Party of Lincoln has devolved into a party which cares about one thing; winning. It has no morals and no principles.
Romney and others were members of the “never Trump” club, but now they are bowing at his feet. They are displaying their deplorable lack of character by supporting a man who is a white supremacist, a xenophobe, a sexual predator, and a fascist. They are willing to accept his depravity, and his use of hatred to control his supporters. For me, this proves that the entire Republican Party is corrupt, and an embarrassment for our nation.
Marco Rubio called Trump a “con man,” but now supports him. Ted Cruz labeled the “orange man” a “sniveling coward,” and a “serial philanderer;” and now accepts Trump’s right to criticize his wife, Heidi’s, appearance, and claim that his father was involved in the assassination of JFK. Chris Christie said that Trump would be the “entertainer-in-chief,” and was the first to become his “bitch.” Paul Ryan told the American people that he could no longer support Trump after three tapes were revealed where Trump spoke about women in vile and reprehensible terms. Today Ryan raises his right arm and shouts “Heil Trump” when his fuhrer enters the room. Mitch McConnell followed Ryan’s lead and has capitulated to the party’s new standard bearer, who has absolutely no moral standards.
This is your Republican Party; and it’s as ugly as it can possibly be.
I am severely disappointed in the mainstream media. Other than our vote, which failed our nation this year, the only hope the American people once had was that the fourth estate would expose corruption and immoral behavior by our nations elected officials. Sadly, they continue to give Trump a free pass. Who will stand up for our nation’s people? I, and thousands others like me will never cease to tell the truth; Trump is unfit to be our nation’s president, and he will never be mine.
Anyone with average intelligence is fully aware that Trump is unqualified to be our nation’s president, but more importantly, he lacks any sense of morality. Some of our nation’s less-informed voters have given us the most despicable man in our nation as the leader of the free world.
The world may remain free, but these sad angry voters have allowed Putin’s puppet to become our president. Fascism has arrived in America, and it is carrying a cross and waving the flag.
