Has Trump destroyed our relationship with China seven weeks before he becomes our illegitimate president? This is additional proof that ignorant voters have placed our nation in great jeopardy by electing the most unqualified president in history. Add to his possible destruction of our future with China, he has invited the extremist president of the Philippines to come to America, although he is one of the greatest murderers of those who demand human rights. Trump is making foreign policy before he has the authority. This is a traitorous action by a proven mentally inadequate individual.
When Richard Nixon visited China in 1972, our nation recognized the communist government as the official government of China for the first time. Our relationship with the most populated nation in the world has been tenuous since that time, but it has stabilized, especially under the presidency of Barrack Obama.
For nearly 40 years our nation has respected the tensions between China and Taiwan. Before Nixon’s visit to mainland China, our government recognized Taiwan as the legitimate representative of the Chinese people. When that changed in 1972, an unwritten agreement between our two nations was created.
Trump broke that understanding by accepting a phone call from Taiwan’s leader. His lack of understanding related to international relations has become a major concern to both democrats and republicans. China has filed a formal complaint, and it doesn’t appear that Trump is taking the situation seriously.
If we look into the truthful reasons for Trump’s acceptance of the phone call, it has nothing to do with our relationship with Taiwan. It involves the relationship between Trump’s business interests and the Taiwanese government. Trump has been seeking permission to build several luxury hotels on the island. He either does not care, or is more ignorant than anyone believed; he is risking a military confrontation with China by placing his business interests as his top priority.
This is not the first faux pas by Trump related to international relations.
Trump paid a visit to Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto last summer. After the meeting, Trump claimed that President Nieto had agreed to build his infamous wall, and pay for it. Nieto disagreed completely, and said that the matter was never discussed.
I seriously doubt that Trump is taking this entire situation seriously. It is obvious that he has not been making the choices for his cabinet or closest advisers; they are being made for him. Now he’s traveling on a “victory tour,” and conducting more “rallies” with the same hatred and attacks he used before the election. He is not ready to become the president, and obviously doesn’t care.
I am beginning to see Donald Trump for who he really is; an ignorant, lazy, and dangerous man who was more unfit to be the president than I previously believed.
So who will be running our government after January 20? It won’t be Trump; he is unqualified. Will it be Steve Bannon? Will it be Robert Mercer? We know it won’t be Reince Priebus; he already failed as Chairman of the RNC.
Whoever it is, this administration will be all about profit before people. Billionaires and other individuals whose only god is money will be responsible for the future of our nation; and under Trump, the future appears dark and dangerous.
Please re-post and inform the American people about the president they have elected and the unstable position he has placed our nation into; even before his inauguration.
