Every rally held by Donald Trump had two themes; bash Hillary, and the creation of hatred for all those who opposed Trump. Beginning on November 9th, the day after the election, hate crimes against blacks, Hispanics, Muslims, and women have risen at an alarming rate. Verbal harassment, destruction of property, vandalism, and physical assaults have become daily occurrences across the nation.
Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager told reporters that she regretted calling half of Trump’s supporters a “bag of deplorables;” she shouldn’t have; she was not wrong. Those who have been hiding in the shadows now have a voice; a leader. He urged his supporters to become angry, demonstrate hatred, and use violence to suppress his detractors. Whether they call themselves white nationalists, white supremacists, the Alt-Right, or the Ku Klux Klan, these deplorable groups now have a leader; a voice who will become the most powerful man in the world, as well as the most despicable.
The Mall of America in Minneapolis did something impressive, and American this weekend. They decided to have their first black Santa Claus.
Larry Jefferson is a retired U.S. Army veteran from Texas. Mall management hired him to talk to children for four days. Although most real Americans found it a courageous and inspiring choice, Trump supporters didn’t see it that way.
The Minneapolis Star Tribune was forced to shut down its comments section due to overload; this is the Trump effect. A summary of the comments were very disturbing and echoed the sentiments of Donald Trump and his circle of sinners.
“Incredibly stupid,” one person wrote. “Santa is WHITE. BOYCOTT Mall of America. Maybe they should change their name to MALL of RAGHEAD LAND.” The Trump effect.
There were more positive comments than negative. Here are two tweets from intelligent Americans who support the Constitution.
“I do not wanna be in the same room as the people who are offended by black santa when they find out that Jesus was a middle eastern refugee.”
“People are upset about Mall of America having a Black Santa but Santa is based off St Nicholas and he’s Turkish so he’s not even white.”
Thirty years ago, I believed that I would live to see an America which failed to see color. I hoped that no one would say “my black friend,” “my Hispanic friend,” or “my Jewish or Muslim friend.” I hoped that no American would be defined by their color, ethnicity, or their religion. With a white supremacist as our president, I will never experience the America I dreamed of; America will never be a truly great nation.
It is important that every patriot look closely at Trump’s cabinet nominees and his advisers. They are all anti-Americans whose only ambitions are to increase their own wealth, and further their destructive ambitions.
Deplorable is not a strong enough word.
Please re-post; and please join in the efforts to take our nation back.
