If you are a woman, and voted for Donald Trump, first of all; why? How can you justify the fact that you voted for a misogynist, a sexist, and an alleged sexual predator to your daughters? Possibly worse is the fact that you voted to give up your personal freedoms and the right to be treated equally in all matters. You surrendered to a dirty old man who wants to take our nation back to the 1950’s.
Didn’t you hear Trump during the campaign when he claimed that because he was rich and famous, he had the right to grab you or your daughter anywhere at any time? Didn’t you listen to a tape from ‘the Apprentice’ when he told another man that he just raped a woman? Why didn’t you take it seriously when Trump promised to ban all abortions, and that any woman who received one, and the doctor who performed it should be punished? Of course, if you are a religious extremist who needs to be led through life by a man standing behind a pulpit; I get it.
Today, Ohio Governor John Kasich, who disagreed with Trump during the campaign season, but now agrees with him on most issues, has begun the escalation of the war on women by promising to sign a bill moving women into the dark ages.
Republican misogynists in the Ohio state legislature passed a bill late Tuesday evening which would ban all abortions as soon as a heartbeat can be detected. My advice for all true, strong, and independent women is; ‘leave the state immediately;’ you have just become a third-class citizen. You are accepting the right of men to control your own bodies. Your life as a free American is over. And it’s only going to get worse.
The Republican Party has been allowed to violate the Constitution for years by allowing the Christian religious right to control which legislation they will pass. This phony Christian group denies the teachings of Jesus Christ by judging their fellow men and women, and teaching hatred instead of compassion. This cult is responsible for more deaths related to religious belief than any other throughout history, and yet they will not accept the fact that a woman has a right to decide her own future.
Trump wants to repeal the first amendment. He wants to remove a woman’s freedoms; stop freedom of speech; suppress the voting rights of intelligent Americans; and remove the freedom of the press because he is too weak to take criticism.
Let’s be totally honest, America; we are in serious trouble. Fascism has arrived in America thanks to millions of ignorant voters. They failed our nation, and have accepted the most despicable man in the world as their president; the key word is “their.”
Please re-post if you believe that women’s rights are an issue that cannot be ignored. This, alone, is a reason for revolution.
