Let’s take a look at some of Trump’s nominees and appointments expected to join his circle of sinners, and how they will affect your daily life; hint; it won’t be for the better.
Trump’s first two appointments were both strange and frightening. He selected white supremacist, Steve Bannon, as his chief adviser. He is the former head of the extreme right wing propaganda machine, Breitbart, which publishes stores damning progressives, minorities, Muslims, Jews, women, and the LGBT community.
Then he selected the man who helped create Trumpenstein due to his inability to be an effective leader. Former RNC Chairman, Reince Priebus will be his chief of staff.
His first cabinet nominee was Republican Senator Jeff Sessions from the most racist state in the Union; Alabama. Sessions was previously denied a federal judgeship because of his blatant racist beliefs. He is another white supremacist who will continue the division between law enforcement and the black community.
Trump selected Wilbur Ross as Secretary of Commerce, and Betsy DeVos as Secretary of Education. Neither have any experience in business. What they share with Trump is the fact that they are billionaires who have contributed to bigoted organizations, and to Trump’s campaign.
The nominee for Secretary of the Treasury, is another Wall Street thief. Steven Mnuchin made a fortune buying failing business during the great recession.
Although Ben Carson admitted that he is unqualified to hold office in the federal government, that didn’t stop him from accepting Trump’s nomination to head the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Really?
His latest two nominees, would be laughable if they weren’t so seriously dangerous to the future of our nation and the planet.
Scott Pruitt has been nominated to head the Environmental Protection Agency. He is currently the attorney general of Oklahoma. He has spent his entire career suing the EPA on behalf of the oil and gas companies. I guess the EPA will soon disappear, and the one-percent will be allowed to pollute our air, water, and soil without punishment.
Today Trump nominated Andrew Puzder as Secretary of Labor. Here’s a man who is another billionaire, and has never worked an honest day in his life. He owns fast food chains, including Hardees, and Carl’s Jr.
He has long been an opponent if any regulations affecting the food industry, and is a staunch opponent of raising the minimum wage. He loves to employ single mothers living in poverty; they work hard and are desperate to feed their families. Another fact, which is no surprise, “Puz” is opposed to the Affordable Care Act. Who do these people think they are demanding equality with him and his family? Another white supremacist? Likely.
Now here’s the most distressing fact if you understand government; even to a minimal degree.
Trump has nominated 17 individuals for necessary government positions. He still needs to nominate 645 more. Is this how he’ll work in the Oval Office? He’s too busy taking his ‘victory lap,’ and waging a twitter war with an Indiana union rep.
