There is a picture of George W. Bush reading a security briefing on August 6, 2001. It clearly states that Osama bin Laden planned to attack the United States, and that he ‘may use planes.’ The media has virtually ignored this fact, although several security service personnel who were in office on September 11, 2001 reported that they warned both Bush and Cheney of an eminent attack. The president and vice-president ignored the warning, and went on vacation.
Donald Trump was elected exactly one month ago today. To this date, he has only attended three of the security briefings the President receives every day. He is taking a “victory” lap, and spending hours tweeting; complaining about Alec Baldwin, and a union representative in Indiana. Apparently he’s just too busy to attend these extremely important briefings.
By the way; did I mention that he has only nominated 17 individuals for key positions, and must nominate 645 more before January 20?
Is this another game for Trump? Is he taking anything seriously about becoming the leader of our nation and the free world? Does he believe that he will spend four years holding rallies, eating Kentucky Fried Chicken, and sitting on his golden bidet? He just doesn’t get it.
Trump’s choices for his circle of sinners raise literally thousands of questions. He apparently believes that former generals and billionaires are the best choices possible; qualified or not. Several of his poorer choices are diametrically opposed to the agencies they will head. Sessions, Pruitt, and Puzder have negative positions regarding their departments.
Sessions is a white supremacist, who will attempt to destroy Black Lives Matter with riot control weapons in his postion as Attorney General.
Pruitt sought to destroy the EPA, and may now be successful as its new boss.
Puzder expects his employs to live on $7.50 an hour, and not have the right to healthcare. Secretary of Labor? He knows that those who work for him and live in poverty are afraid to lose their menial jobs.
National security is by far the most critical. His selection of extremely controversial retired general Michael Flynn as head of the NSA has been heavily criticized. He was a well-known critic of Hillary Clinton. His constant voicing of conspiracy theories and posting of links to fake news stories bring valid questions about his abilities and his intent. Can a man like this be trusted to give complete and unbiased information to the President of the United States? He appears to be a bad actor in a ‘made for television movie.’
The media is no longer trusted by intelligent Americans. They won’t say it; but I will. It appears that Trump does not want to be our president. He acts as though he would rather continue being a dirty old man and grabbing women by the crotch.
Please re-post; this is our future.
