Several groups have applied for permits to protest the inauguration of Donald Trump, but no permits have been issued. Is this another plot by the Republican Party to downplay the disgust of the American people that it allowed such a despicable and immoral man as Trump to become their president?
Although Hillary Clinton has now received as many votes as President Obama did in 2012, our nation is forced to face a fascist as our leader for four long years.
Protesting is patriotic, but Trump seeks to repeal the first amendment. Even the slightest criticism results in a twitter assault against his detractors.
Trump and his circle of sinners must expect protests wherever they go. Most of America will not accept him as our legitimate president. I am certain, permits or not, that the groups who are planning rallies on January 20th and 21st‘ will conduct them loudly, but peacefully. In addition, there is talk of a protest in front of Trump Tower in New York, even if Trump himself will not be there.
Knowing Trump’s nominees, and individuals he has appointed, the American people will be forced to fight for many of our rights. His circle of sinners is composed of white supremacists, sexists, and men and women who suffer from Islamophobia and homophobia. They seek the destruction of the EPA, eliminating the minimum wage, and removing your right to affordable healthcare. Trump will shred the Constitution, as he and his cronies rule our nation. Democracy will be replaced with a plutocracy, and to enforce it, fascist tactics will become the norm. Hatred and violence will become national diseases.
By the summer of 2017, Trump and his circle of sinners will have destroyed virtually everything which could have made America a great nation. Peaceful protests will be replaced by riots as Trump becomes the most hated man in America.
Will you join the revolution, or will you raise your right arm and shout: “Heil Trump?”
